I do, and my work is right next to the airport, and it's loud when trying to talk on the phone. But so cool when they do their Initial and Pitch landing right over the top of us.
@spikeles7 It must be pretty loud there. I don't know how long I could manage living or working there full-time, but I'm sure I could manage a few months at least. We used to have US aircraft carriers visit back before 9/11. They would put on a great display when they left to thank Hobart for the hospitality they were given. Had the USS Missouri basically in the middle of the city just before it was decommissioned because of our naturally deep port. The Americans were always a pleasure to meet at the pub or on the streets. Most were very respectful. Hope you are having the same experience with the various Air Forces there at the moment.
