I don't think I've ever seen a fighter jet in my life in the United States. I've seen a crapload of c5 galaxy and B52s though (I used to live near Travis AFB).

About 10 years ago a jet crashed into apartment building when he was on approach from a carrier. My apartment was facing that apartment building so when I got home from work, our street looked foreign. I love this country, and the jets are the sound of freedom but damn, in VA beach, it's constant and gets so annoying. I have been mad so many times because of jets being so loud. I also lived on an Island in the Chesapeake Bay called Gwynn's Island. The jets go north from Va beach and go up to the island and get really close to the beach and circle the island. It's cool to watch that but they stopped doing that when I was really young. It's crazy you have never seen a jet. I see them daily. I also see a lot of Subs coming in the Bay and carriers docked at Norfolk Naval base. It's cool seeing it from the sky from a commercial jet. So many subs, Battleships and Carriers. If we were ever invaded, this would be THE spot it all happens.

I was trained in RAF Locking as a foreign student. I have travelled to several RAF Air Force bases for football and badminton competitions. I am very impressed with modern fighters like F22, F35, F15EX, F4 Rafael, Typhoon.

The difference is the price of each one. F22 60million f35 1billion looking at a lot of money in 1 spot. Just wait till the new A-10 warthogs land in your town. The upgraded electronics and a bigger gun. Basically it's a gun with wings. Also the new F15j strike Eagle, bigger engine's, 1 seater.
What a treat to see so many of the very best military aircraft the western world has to offer. But lets not loose sight of the fact that most of these pilots are going to war. *I grew up in Virginia Beach and saw all the Oceana traffic from 1977 to 2001.* Langley was nearby, but you never really saw many Air Force vehicles. I do wish I had visited more. The F-15 was my favorite aircraft, but I rarely saw it.

I remember when I was a 22 year old kid seeing the F-22 for the first time on tv in 1997 when it took it's maiden flight . I thought it looked like some futuristic fighter aircraft out of a sci-fi movie that some alien race built especially flying next to the F-16 chase aircraft. Even today it still looks that way to me next to other fighter aircraft and can't believe the Raptor is over 25 years old but wow is it a good looking fighter. Wow! It is nice to see our planes from JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson) landing there at RAF Lakenheath. JBER used to be Elmendorf Air Force Base but merged with Fort Richardson Army Base several years ago for cost cutting reasons like many others in other States. They are close together & are neighbors in military land. I am from Anchorage, Alaska. They are across the highway from us. We are used to listening to military jets & planes landing & flying.
Great video.. always had the F15s and Typhoons as my faves, especially watching them around the mach loop but these Raptors are just another level. They make the 35s look tiny.
I feel like this display was a message to Iran as much as anything. They’re deploying F-22s, F-35s and F-15Es? They are ready to strike something hard and with overwhelming superiority if it comes down to it.
Just like the most beautiful birds of prey are usually the most deadly, so is the Raptor. Can't leave without giving a shout out to the old guard Strike Eagle. She's one hell of a cougar, and those Raptors wouldn't want to drag race her even at her age
Those c -17s are awesome. My father took me inside a few of the older versions when he was with SAC . Guess it pays off to wake up at 2 am and clean all the coffee makers and no I’m not talking about kuerig or nesspreso. Real ones.
I finally saw an F-35A demonstration at an air show and oh my god was that loud.(which I love). I loved hearing that fifth gen Afterburners power. Made me appreciate the aircraft more. I read that the F-35 engine is about 4 times louder than the f-16, which I imagine would make it about twice as loud as an f-15.
@@AndrewTate-nf2id different purpose so better is subjective...F22 from an engineering is the most expensive plane ever built, and to maintain, hence why the program has ended and they no longer make it in favor of the F35. The F22 is more of a long range fighter not a dog fight fighter.
I think this is more of a warning. They aren't being stealthy...more like the teacher yelling at the kids fighting on the playground...like "don't make me come over there," or "knock it off."

*I grew up in Virginia Beach and saw all the Oceana traffic from 1977 to 2001.* Langley was nearby, but you never really saw many Air Force vehicles. I do wish I had visited more. The F-15 was my favorite aircraft, but I rarely saw it.

F22’s are like wolverines, mean and looking for a fight. There was a wing at Holloman for awhile, getting fitted with Sperry electronics. What a show.
I remember when I was a 22 year old kid seeing the F-22 for the first time on tv in 1997 when it took it's maiden flight . I thought it looked like some futuristic fighter aircraft out of a sci-fi movie that some alien race built especially flying next to the F-16 chase aircraft. Even today it still looks that way to me next to other fighter aircraft and can't believe the Raptor is over 25 years old but wow is it a good looking fighter. Don't worry F-15 eagles you were and always will be my first love ! Much respect & love to my brothers and sisters across the pond take care and be safe.
Those are from my state. I usually only get to see them in action during Red Flag - Alaska at nearby Eielson Air Force Base. Awesome aircraft!

Wow! It is nice to see our planes from JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson) landing there at RAF Lakenheath. JBER used to be Elmendorf Air Force Base but merged with Fort Richardson Army Base several years ago for cost cutting reasons like many others in other States. They are close together & are neighbors in military land. I am from Anchorage, Alaska. They are across the highway from us. We are used to listening to military jets & planes landing & flying.
I thought the F22 was loud until I heard that F35. Jeez those P&W engines are nasty!

I finally saw an F-35A demonstration at an air show and oh my god was that loud.(which I love). I loved hearing that fifth gen Afterburners power. Made me appreciate the aircraft more. I read that the F-35 engine is about 4 times louder than the f-16, which I imagine would make it about twice as loud as an f-15.
