I love the black, I've been gathering Murray parts and have decided on all black. Lens looks good! Kinda a 4200 kelvin look, little yellow.

Perhaps that mystery connector on the CDI box is for the kill switch? Grounding out the ignition coil will work too obviously.

I tried grounding it and nothing happened.

@@Corn-ped Interesting. I took a look at a few derbi wiring diagrams and they all showed 2-wire CDIs (ignition coil and return). Could be something weird like the CDI curve adjusting wire on hpis or the "start" function on QT50s.

Lens is good. maybe put some dielectric grease on them connections? everything else was spot on.
