It's funny how Kratos basically refers to himself at this moment. By nature he's a warrior, he was made to fight and kill without thought. By form he was a monster, but he changed. Something he didn't believed was possible. He was fighting for Atreus safety and this was all he really wanted. And by the end Kratos realised he isn't monster anymore, he became a Protector of the Nine Realms. And what Brok say? If you read between lines it much more. Brok and Sindri are blacksmiths. Creator of weapons than are used to kill. Creating Mjolnir was the biggest mistake of his life. In a way this is his redemption. A God of War who strike true for safety of his people, uses strength guided by wisdom and don't fight unless it's necessary. Exactly what weapons should be used to. Not for mindless violence.

“I have met many in my travels. You are one of the few I would call friend” that just shows that kratos really does care about brok and sindri. The fact that brok died shows that kratos is not just emotional but really cares about them like family. Atreus by far was more broken than any other he treated brok like an uncle including sindri. That quote kratos said made me tear up a lot knowing we will never see brok ever again

I felt like, this music were a foreshadow of Brok being the real G of this games, it played a bunch of times when he is on the screen. It can be considered Brok's theme song now

Brok always spoke the truth, and despite his demeanor, carried with him great wisdom. Now his job is done, and he's been laid to rest.
