Kinda wanted a secret boss where he kills the older version of himself to truly let go of his pass but I guess that would go against the theme of this game of him not being a destroyer

Just think about it, Kratos go to sleep after the main story of Ragnarok and have a dream of him being in Greece again fighting his younger self and won then wake up peacefully. Would be the perfect closure to Kratos's arc ( If this is his last game which i doubt isn't). Anyway, that would still make a good DLC, would definitely pay for it.

Don't think that's what Thor is doing. If you look closely, it's a replica of the shrine they found in Jotunnhein and that Angrboda showed Atreus, but Faye painted over it to give her love a brighter future

It's genuis how he takes Kratos angry testosterone filled theme and transformes it into this hopeful, peaceful and dare I say restorative theme to show his transition from the former guilt ridden god of war to a new and renewed and celebrated God of Hope. When atreus talks to angrboda it sounds like an Irish flute so I think he might gotre looking for giants. It would make sense because Ireland is famous for archery in history
