Cane Pole Fishing for SHEEPSHEAD with Worms for Bait

Today I went out to catch some big sheepshead using only worms and a cane pole. I cut the Bamboo pole from the woods behind my house and it turned out perfect. This might have been the most fun I've had catching sheepshead. I'll definitely be fishing with a cane pole in the future for sheepshead.

I've been using cane poles since I was a lad, and my brother just informed me that if I wrap my pole from bottom of the pole to top with my line- if my pole breaks because of a sizable fish, I may still have a chance to land even if my pole breaks. Thought it was genius and a heck of a cane pole tip.

I’ve seen that done. Definitely a good idea if a big fish might break your pole
