This guy is apparently calling him out but we all watched other videos with people catching sheephead on worms. I don't fish them but I watched a guy catch 3 on Red worms. They might prefer crabs shrimp etc but they do eat red worms. So his MythBusters theory is bogus.

Was about to say. Fishing against what I would say is an open ocean wall in S Fla vs inshore flats and bays where others have had success with red worms are two different methods of fishing. Where others have had success with the red worms may mimic some sort of sea worm the sheepshead see and utilize as food vs here where it is foreign and crabs and shrimp are the main forage. All this video proves is that red worms don’t work in this area.

use NIGHTcrawlers next-time, they're much larger. Redworms are smaller species mainly for panfish and trout. Yes, depending on the fish, it does make a difference.

It’s trial and error with saltwater. One days is great the next it can suck lol. It doesn’t matter what you use buddy I’m a faithful Rad Reeling fan!! You could go out a not catch anything and I’ll support you and your channel! It’s always extra when your killing it. Your videos make my day week month. It’s funny because when I go fishing I have your videos in the back of my mind JC. Sometimes I tell myself I’m doing something wrong because I’m not landing fish like you do. Then other times I say damn I wish I could show JC how the fish has been tonight 😂.

The different rigs you use and how you fish them would be a great topic while we are waiting on the Pomps to fire up!!! Since you tried the myth of worms & sheepshead, I have a couple of ideas to try (perhaps even a couple videos too). The first one is that could there be any saltwater fish that would go for a worm? The second one (it's a bit disgusting) is could cockroaches get sheepshead since I have heard they have proteins similar to shrimp? Might be worth trying out!

There's not many fish that won't eat a worm even if it's not in their native food chain.Fish have moods and sometimes they don't want a certain food.Like some days a Sheepshead doesn't want a crab but will hit a barnacle, this was just a day they didn't want a worm.
You need to fish them more than once to get a actual conclusion.
I'd get a length of rope and tie it to the back of the Yak so when you're around those poles again you can tie off to them. When tied off you won't have to keep fighting with current, fish, wind, etc.
A velcro strap with a D ring would be perfect.Take a carabiner and attach it to the rope then attach that to the D ring and you have a way to unhook it kind of quick if need be.

Not to mention I watched a guy in person catch 3 huge sheephead. I don't fish for them but yeah. Not trying to sound jerky but I would say a much more time indepth study would be needed but no need because they in fact do eat red worms.
