- Hey everybody thanks for watching this is just a fun run from a test and tune night Mustang 5.0 red lights but stays in it and I was able to run him down and beat him this was a 11.2@125 mph run I did run a bit better later stay tuned for that video.

woah!! That’s probably faster than a C7 Zo6, probably could keep up wit a Mclaren 600lt!! That’s just crazy how that used to be a 335 horsepower slug box.
Faster then a stock C7 z06 for sure would be a run versus one with a tune and drag pack though. Thanks for watching.

@@HyperHawkCamaro what are your strategies for keeping things safe and reliable? After all, the LGX, while a fantastic motor, is not meant to be boosted.
@@spillow762 Few things we don't pull torque management on the shifts this keeps the shock factor off the parts. So car pulls timing for a split second on every shift. Also just lots and lots of logs and the car absolutely loves E85. I get 0 signs of detonation or knock. Truth is I am fully prepared to throw some more boost at it and see the true potential of these motors they are not a ton of money to replace like the LT1.. my hood cost more then my engine. But limited because there is 0 fueling options or forged parts for them. So I am playing the long game and enjoying the progress.
@@HyperHawkCamaro this is amazing. You are right about the LGX engines being cheap. Gmpartsdirect lists them for under 5k.
@@spillow762 and I've seen them for under 1k on LKQ for a used one.

So I have a edelbrok supercharger on my 2016 3.6 currently, for a smaller pulley what am I looking for cost to buy it and have it installed ?
I wouldn't do a smaller pulley on the Edelbrock top mount it's too small of a blower and will create too much heat. Others have done it and had issues.

What do you mean ? Depends on the pulley size the LGX is NA stock

@@Icygt500 Oh stage 1 is very safe you will be fine. Even with my car the testing new things out pushing it to the limit at the end of the day my engine only went boom because of the methanol kit.
