My wife isnt a DND player but she was doing a puzzle while I was watching this one and stopped to watch because of the art work. That is an A+ grade. Keep it up

Finishing up bloodstone in the next few months and then delving into great modron march and dead gods. This overview is absolutely fantastic and well done. Thank you for making this
Kiaransalee is such a cool god. The banshee knights and undead legions fighting demons and their own undead is just so cool. Not a story of good vs evil just two evils going to war. Love it
Ran a post Out of the Abyss “Into the Abyss: The Wand of Orcus” high level home brew one shot where a party ventured deep into Orcus’ layer to destroy the wand only to learn that one of the party members was destined to serve as a vessel for Demogorgon’s rebirth after the party slew the demon lord previously in his layer and had to face a new avatar or projection of Demo. The transformation scene drew its inspiration from nightmare on elm street 2, and an American werewolf in London. Good time, Orcus rocks 🤘
How I completely missed this is beyond me. Kiransalee is a good idea of what it takes to depose Lolth. Even with all her acquired power, lolth crushed her like a fly.
Indeed and I actually have TWO videos on her, one regarding her animus with Orcus that i linked and another that is all The Lady Revenant - th-cam.com/video/3jPGmyVqXR0/w-d-xo.html
Luckily, my stories flop anyway, so I need not find a not-evil deity of Undeath, but only declare the rogues deluded about `Orcus´ being a deity instead of a Demonic Patron only...
lantern again..i got to say this..i was one of the kids that. how u say caught the wurst end of the real world info. you have pointed out..i was suddelly the devil rurshiper..lol..as if high schoole and dislesic wasnt enuff.but i still ad will always stand by the things i love. stan lee was my dad.. he threw his heros gave me morals.this game gave me friends
It's honestly surprising she didn't take out orcus even earlier. Sure, he's a powerful entity, but he's outclassed in this battle. Even a lesser diety is more than a match for a demonlord.
C'mon Rich, my house isn't that bad. Okay, maybe it is... (Thanks for the video, have to use my teenage edge lord account name for all that it is worth.)
The "Satanic Panic" was a smear of a justified concern of the moral decay that D&D could facilitate. "Justified" by the fact that the current version (whether you think of that as 5th, or 5.5) contains both a Race and a Class dependent on Fiendish origin. As well as the makers of BG3 _lamenting_ the fact that, while they allowed players to play red skinned, horned characters, but most people make normal human looking avatars. Not to mention the OGL was an idea born of the depths of the human soul!

This might be one of the nicest comments i have received... so humbled and appreciative that people out there get it and are just as passionate or even more than I am.
It is coming... it will not be this month or maybe even next, but i have already started the research and production for a BG2 video... thank you for your patience!
Probably scheming on the proper way to steal thanatos from the Banshee after she did all the heavy lifting.more likely she was setting things in place in preparation for her "silence". The events of that time pretty much nullified any gains toward independence the banshee made. 😈{Whispers}Praise Lolth..and the world is her Prey!
While the story was excellent the whole idea that a minor God could harness the "last word" seems absurd on every level. Just the idea of the "last word" makes zero sense. Every diety who valued their own hide would have protected it from anyone ever using it. It's just lazy writing by Wizards of rhe Coast in my opinion.
I can certainy see why some would say that and I generally agree with agree that statement in terms of "current gen" Wotc. However, given what I covered in Chapter 12 I think the writers from the second edition, like Monte Cook who were dealt a bad situation did an admirable job. That said, I agree about the Last Word, and as i said in the final chapter, it was the Deus Ex Machina plot device, but I plan the corporate overlords more than the Planescape writers, who I actually have a ton of respect for. Thanks for the taking the time to give feedback!

The wand was made from the spine and skull of a hero named anarchocles; literally: to honor no rules.
Orcus the undying is coming home! He's back!!!
I shall ressurect the demon prince of undeath. Inexorably. And demons and devils are back. I shall recall them all.
I love the orcus artwork, im interested in seeing how well you can generate other demon lords
I've always found Kiaransalee interesting, I'm running a Drow necromancer campaign in BG3 now in tribute to the Revenancer.
Well then you may like the next video, it is 100% dedicated to her lore and dogma.

Orcus had other plans. So did his wand.

I loved this storyline back in the day. I played through this with my group back around 1998-9. Dead Gods is my fave module of all time.
The one time in 5e I've had a Warlock player using the hexblade subclass I made teneberous his patron.
I love seeing your videos come out. I love all the old lore and backstories to things I didn’t even think about. Keep up the amazing work!

If it's NoTC I blame lazy writing.

@RichesandLiches I miss the old days where it was harder but more story driven like ravenloft. Where retcon didn't happen. Wishful thinking I know.
Hasbro WOTC has only produced lazy writing
Love your info and the work you put into your audio presentation. I wish you didn't use AI generated art.
