People get so pissed of by the car not having a 2jz. Some people just kick the bmw engine out and swap in a 2jz. Either way not a bad car with the original engine
@@Dallas867 See the reason why Toyota couldn’t produce their own inline 6 engine, it wouldn’t be compatible with their other models since most Toyotas are FWD based and the V6 is cheaper to produce. It wouldn’t make sense to make a specific engine for one model it’s not Toyotas philosophy.
@@Dallas867 they don’t wanna have to spend money on R and D since their main profit is from selling mainstream cars(corolla, rav4, Camry), they only produce what sells, not what doesn’t. Just look at their previous sports cars and their sales numbers you’ll understand.

@@rolasleyva8602 Same chassis, but BMW laid out the interior differently. A 6’9” dude fit in the Z. At 6’6”, it’s a no-go in the Supra.
