This is a great looking Diesel Mark. Congrats on the New Purchase and Newest Addition to your Roster. Anymore you have to get them quickly or they'll all be gone. Not like the Old Days.
Thanks Matt.! Yah the hobby shop only ordered the one. He said they were already sold out when he tried to get another one. It’s bigger than it looks on camera. It really makes my layout look small. Really looks great with the switcher so he’s a keeper.! 👍🏻😊

Yes I did.! Not a pilot just a life long fan of aviation. I only went for the weekend and the weather was not the best. It was good to get away though. I just put together a quick for personal use only and not a Public TH-cam video.😊
I love the engine! I have a question... I,ve been noticing some Lionel Southern pacific SD40T-2 trains don't have those two lights in front of the locomotive. Is that a mistake? I want to get one with those two lights in front, but I just find SD40T-2 southern pacific without them 🥺
Yes, I noticed as well. Apparently Lionel is building these exactly like the originals. Seems the bloody nose SP and the Susquehanna only have the ditch lights. However, The Catalog show SP without Ditch lights.🤷♂️I do wish they all came with Ditch light feature but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case. Hope this helps? Mark

That is a sweet locomotive! A local railroad had a pair of old T-2s which have since been sold off.

You should’ve done a night time view with the oscillating headlight and shown the reverse light working.
Setting up for maybe a mid week run and yes a night time segment would be great.! Great Suggestion 👍🏻😊
