I sure was nice of Joey. I have been working out by the airport since the 80s and only remember the Bensenville yard being run by Soo Line. I do seem to remember a few old passenger cars and maybe a Caboose off Green St. The area has really changed since CP rail took over. I have a scanner and they still use quite a bit of two way radio communications to this day. Thanks for watching and the interesting comment.!😊

It sure is Frank. Joey does beautiful work and I really love how it turned out. I do wish I could sleep better but all and all I feel pretty good after a pretty serious surgery. I really do hope I can get out of the apartment I'm in but houses are still pretty high in price so I'm keeping my hopes up? Have a great Independence Day Holiday.!

Good to know about where it was made Wayne 👍🏻 LOL in the hood.!😂 I work close to a few rail yards and my goodness they sure do find the ugliest beat up rail cars for the tanker trains. I almost have to wonder how they are even still running. Joey sure did great work on that box car and I just love it.! @@markslioneltrains Thanks Mark! Just an added bit of railroad lore concerning those beat-up railcars you mentioned. Federal rail rules forbid interchange of railcars over 40 years old (not sure why) but if those cars never leave home rails then the railroads that own them can run them as long as they like. Certainly the reason you see the oldest nastiest cars used as "buffers" in tank trains. Hey, you have a great Independence Day too!

I sure do Joey and Thank you so very much. We have a rail yard close to my work and the ugly cars they have in between the Locomotive and tankers I wonder how they even run. I’m feeling pretty good but it will be a few more weeks until I’m kind of back to normal. I know it’s probably pretty hot in the cave this time of year for you and hope it cools off soon so you can get back in the train room as well. Thanks for watching and the kind words.👍🏻

Thanks Cesar you are welcome.!😊 I was just looking at the price these days and at over $400.00 it's hard to say? If you have hard to get to parts of your layout like I do then yes it is worth the money. I have had mine for a few years and when I purchased it they were around $300.00. It is fun running trains with it instead of cleaning the track with paper towels or shop rags.🤷
