Can we take a moment to appreciate the quality videos that Holts puts out on a regular basis. I loved the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut and the Don Peppin 20th anniversary. Both stellar blends that are quite different from each other and they make a delicious combo throughout the day. Start off with the La Aroma de Cuba with a cup of coffee and the Don Peppin after a filling dinner. I want to pick up these other incredible blends on Holts soon
Glad you enjoy the content, thanks for sharing!
For real top on TH-cam in my opinion. Anthony so educated and authentic!
He really does have the best editing and camera shots for cigars on TH-cam for sure.
@@IAmProdAGI want to learn this and try to make videos like this myself
Amen!
Watching Anthony in these videos got me interested in the cigar world. His delivery in these videos are classy suit ,tie ,and he doesn’t use foul language !
I appreciate that he does not use foul language and is respectful. He doesn’t bad mouth any brand whether tobacco, spirits or any pairing. If there is an ombudsman for the cigar enthusiasts to cigar makers, it must be Anthony. I’d love to sit at his table and keep my mouth shut except for a cigar and just listen to him.
I have to say I watch about 5 different cigar reviewers on a regular basis. And your videos are hands down the best. You are so editor and informative. And by far the best dressed. You are the definition of class. I appreciate everything you do. I am a beer Consultant in a B & M and help out in the humidor probably 5- 10 hours a week. And you make my job so much easier. Thank you from Chicago. Rob
Perdomo's always make me happy and always hits the spot, especially the sungrown stuff.
This is a pivotal moment of one of the greatest presentation of the best cigars. Anthony, my friend this is one of them greatest smashes of all time.💪💪💪
Thank you so much for the review. This is my second year in trying different cigars and I'm looking forward to trying these on the list.
Hi ,Anthony I’m aging 10 of the LADC Connecticut’s in my humidor for coming spring,I can’t wait,I just love the brand, special type of cigar brand for sure 👍
I absolutely love these videos! I am new to cigars, and none of my friends are really into them. So these videos have helped guide me. Thanks y'all!
Much agreed!
Once more, an informative video. Thanks, my guy!
Can't mention top cigars of the year without Luciano Cigars!
cheers to holts cigars! one of my first cigars padron 1964 was recommended from anthony and is now one of my favorites I always go back to!
Those picks are some amazingly impressive and good looking cigars. I’m going on a hunt for them Mazz. 🙌🏼🔥🔥🙌🏼
I watch Holts and Cigarobsession exclusively!!! Both informative and like able.
I truly appreciate what you do for the beginner smoke.I have been following you and learning ever time you show a video. thank you
Thanks for sticking with us!
I'm very new I to cigars say a pre aficionado.. but plan to becoming a journeyman in my hobby. I've learned a lot from you thank you
Another phenomenal video by bolts most def
Mazz as always awesome content love your videos and excellant selection thanks for sharing!
thanks for watching, Frank!
For 2023, these cigars stood out to me for their flavor, body, and taste: the Oliva Serie V, Trinidad Espiritu No. 1 & No. 2, Montecristo Espada Guard Oscuro, La Gloria Cubana Spanish Press, and Cohiba Nicaragua.
thanks for sharing!
Nice video, like always very interesting and informative topic ❤
That Don Pepin LE looks very tasty! I’ve never had a bad cigar from My Father Cigars. The fact that so many are on your list speaks volumes to the quality they produce 👍🏼👍🏼
I recently reviewed the El Centurion H 2K CT and wow what a cigar! Definitely not what you’d except from a Connecticut wrapper.
Respect! But I never enjoyed el centurion. Love most if not all of my father smokes.
Great vid, some lookers in that bunch, that Rocky is great.
Anthony, your classy reviews and recommendations have steered my new path into the cigar world with enthusiasm. I’ve tried many of your top picks in the past year and am delighted with each smoke on your lists. Thank you for your knowledge and making the cigar journey a class act! I too am wearing a tie as I have my evening cigar (just got off work but leave on the tie in homage to you.)
Thank you for the kind words, glad to have you with us here on the channel!
All excellent choices! That Perdomo 30th is outstanding - I've had all three wrapper varieties and come back to the Connecticut and the Maduro.
Can't blame you 🔥🔥🔥
I really enjoyed the Amazon Basin Extra Añejo as well as the Allegiance El Chaperone. Pretty much anything God of Fire and the Don Carlos Annivesario
thanks for sharing!
Anthony speaks, I listen
Great video
There are levels to fine handcrafted premium cigar and spirits. Selective boutique manufacturers like Didier Cigars is truly special. I’ve done the pairing with Angels Envy and a Salomon from Didier Cigars. The experience is truly magical and sophisticated.
God must have told Don Pepin that I wanted the Vegas Cubana repackaged. I always thought the blend was great but it would never sell with that dated look that it used to have. I think this is going to sell much better with the repackaging 🙌🏻
Another great video.
🙏
Great Selection Mazz 🏆
glad you agree 👊
Madone! That Aroma De Cuba is the chefs kiss
🤌🏽
Thank you so much, Anthony. Your TH-cam videos are well-presented, educational, and very informative. The details provided on Holt Cigars' website are precisely accurate. The advice you provided is practical and useful. This is gonna be my go-to cigar channel. Love to see more of your content!
Happy to have you here. Thanks for the kind words!
Thank you!
Smoking the Don Pepin green label as I watch this. Great video
Good to see you in a T-Shirt as well 🙂
Hahaha ya doesn't happen much
The regular Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro maintains a space in my humidor and the 23 version has found a spot to squeeze in. The Perdomo 30th anniv Maduro is a banger 🔥 for sure. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either of these 2 hard hitters. Solid choices bruh 👊🏾
I love many of the cigars y'all sell at Holt's. I finally decided to try the Hambones Toro's from another shop. Originally marketed as JP Alley's Sweets, starting in 1923! One of the original, " 5c cigars". The Connecticut Habano has flavors of the Habano with Shade Connecticut & a touch of Sungrown! Mixes well with a roasty, rich coffee. Or the Maduro, which looks and tastes like a San Andreas to me. Now about a buck each on sale, it gives a look at what cigars were in grandpa's day.
Menelik, yes. Vegas Cubanas is not new, but it was underrated/overlooked before. Not new, but when you listed the Edge variants, you left out the Candela, which is my 2nd favorite in the line after maduro. It's not just a St Patrick's Day gimmick.
The La Aroma De Cuba Connecticut is my new favorite cigar.
It is phenomenal but I love a broadleaf
Love your channel, great reviews, great vids. I appreciate the knowledge that you share, but also the fact that you dress the part. Nice suits always, particularly the one you are wearing in this video. And when Rocky Patel showed up, he also had a great suit on. That was a great interview.
Great to see style never goes out of style! 😄
Thanks for the kind words, glad you'r enjoying the content!
Quality video as per usual. Much better than listening to other guys and their funny/lame voices. 👍🏾
Verocu Blue!
That was released in 2022, but definitely a great contender!
Love your content can you please leave a list of the Cigars you review as a new smoker, I go to my local cigar shop and don't always remember the great cigars you mention?
This is one of the best cigar channels out there!
Thank you for the kind words 🙏
Got one of those RP cigars waiting for my next holiday 😊
Every time I watch your videos I spend money! Keep this great content coming!!
Same!
Got some Made Man cigars recently, new to the market I think, peppery but really grew on me once I was in the right mood for it.
Hi Anthony I have watched quite a few of your videos and I am wanting to get into cigars, your thoughts on some cigars I could start the journey with and particularly what I could purchase in Australia or ways to get overseas cigars into Australia, thanks and another great video
Smoking a La Aroma de Cuban maduro right now. Delicious stick
oh yeah 😋
Yup I got tht one la aroma de Cuba
Man I'm new to the cigar game, about 5 months in, but these videos are great.
Welcome aboard! Stay tuned and you'll be a cigar aficionado in no time 🙌
Great content as always. Can you all display the name of the cigar onscreen as you're talking about it? Or, list them in the description?
I was glad to see Aroma de Cuba come up as the first cigar in your review. Aroma de Cuba was the first cigar I ever bought. I knew nothing about cigars, but loved it. Long after my explorations of other brands, to see if there were better blends out there, I still come back to Aroma de Cuba as one of my favorites. It comes in several varieties, of course; but they're all very good.
Thanks for sharing! Definitely started out strong 💪
Great video, how about throwing these in a sampler pack for us 😎
I can only speak for the edge,
When I got it just for a review I though it was REALLY good. At the time I was new to that type of wrapper with its flavors (never tried OG the edge) was such a great experience and smoke. Lasted around a hour of pure relaxation.
Thanks for sharing!
I'm torn between the alec bradley double broadleaf and warfighter 50 cal garrison maduro
The "La Aroma De Cuba" blend kind of sounds like the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne blend
They are different blends but if you're a fan of the Champagne there's a good chance you'll be a fan of the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut. Never know til you try, taste is personal!
@@holtscigars Thanks for the advice! I will definitely try it.
Will you do a video on Irish cigars I'm interested in knowing which one is good to pick from
You guys offer that in a sampler pack I would buy it
That’s two of us.
Cmon cigar lovers. Join us and maybe they will produce a sampler of these. 👍🏽
I enjoy his reviews. No gimmicky shouting. Just a relaxed vibe. Always dressed to a T.
Glad you enjoy it, thank you!
Anthony!!! Every time I hear you say that it reminds me of Connie calling the young Anthony in the Godfather 2.
😂
Good Evening 😊 Awesone good cigars 👏🏼 Thanks for sharing 💯 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Wow that's awesome! This guy's cigar content is just spot on.
I've been doing a little international looking for smokes from other countries. What do have there in South Africa cigar wise?
@@nathanhawee5373 we have all the cigars from around the world , a good range but they expensive to the south african people 😉
@@nathanhawee5373 we have cigars from all over the world 👍🏼
@@nathanhawee5373for real ! I’m intrigued with what’s out there, in which I hear is great tobacco!
It would be great to buy a sampler with all of these cigars. Two of each!
Your Old Henry brand is still one of my favorites, it's a shame they're over priced. But then again, all your cigars are.
I think what all really want to know is how do we go to Nicaragua with the Ashton crew 😂
Sampler Pack?? 👀
JTL Trinidad Espiritu No.3 is a super good cigar that i don’t see a lot of reviews on.
Macallan 12. Scotch's version of flavour Heaven. It's too difficult not to drink beyond just enjoying the flavour. This is a perfect Cuban pairing, or, if you're not Canadian, the Flor does just as good a job.
Great video, as all your offerings. Thanx for sharing your knowledge.
Would you be interested in sharing your thoughts on Honduran cigars? I enjoy them regularly and would like your take on them.
We'll definitely cover them at some point. Thanks for watching!
Any hope of doing all of those as a sampler?
Don Pepin Original, my go to.
THE OLMEC CLARO. THE OLMEC CLARO. THE OLMEC CLARO.
Do you guys have this as a sampler pack?
Just for fun. Holts should create a cigar blend and have viewers send in a label design. Winner gets their design used and a free box. Just a thought.
Please do try to review some Hawaiian cigars from Kauai
Okay, Anthony, I gotta ask: This video talks about some great cigars, and I love the suggestions. But what cigar would you recommend a fella, for his 42nd, who's new to cigars, but doesn't have a specific ceiling on tolerance? For reference, I took a Punch Diablo to the face, same as I did a Cain Black Label. Both were amazing in the flavor department, but neither were too strong for me. Mind you, I have been drinking black coffee for almost 32 years, and I used to smoke double-strength cigarettes (Kamel Reds, Camel Wide non-filter, and other non-filtered cigarettes), so my palette is either dead, or just not very sensitive. I have a Don Carlos Eye Of The Shark saved for this special day. Is that going to be enough to satiate my bloodlust or will I still want more? And if you think I will want more, what would you suggest? I know this may be an odd request, but I really value your opinion, as you've been one of the main people I've referred to whilst partaking in the world of premium cigars. Am I just a madman? Or is there a stick, reasonably priced, that would provide depth of flavor, and not just be a linear ride to Boringsville?
The Don Carlos Eye of the Shark is an incredible cigar that is not easy to come by, so it would make for an excellent celebratory smoke. Definitely not linear, there's nuance in the blend. Try smoking it on a fresh palate (first cigar of the day) and enjoy!
Gurkha has some new Cigars they Should be on Holts review 😎
Gotta try that Rocky Patel Edge. I literally have loved every Rocky cigar I’ve tried
Anthony here..
why cant i get only a peppery taste never get the other flavors the experts talk about. coffee, nutty, vanilla, butter scotch, earth, etc?
How about the Mayflower Cigars by the one and only Michael Knowles? ;)
If anyone reading this can help me out with an answer…let’s consider RP The Edge as an example. When a cigar maker puts various wrappers on a blend, does the blend remain the same if the name, such as The Edge, remains the same?
In most cases, yes. The manufacturers will keep the same blend of tobacco but change the wrapper.
❤❤❤
Parade appropriate
We can’t buy it online
Oliva „V“ or Oliva 5? 🤔
It's traditionally referred to as the "V"
H Upmann 1844 Anejo AJ
You mean 2024?
These cigars were all released in 2023. We don't know what 2024 has in store for us yet 😎
Everyone knows that the top cigars are coming from boutique makers. The big industry players don't want you to know that the best cigars are limited...and are not viable for them to make a profit on.
Small recommendation - ask the guy from the video to have a manicure.
You're asking a guy to get a manicure?
Maximum respect for Padròn products but if the opponents of the Cuban stuff are the top 2023 of Cigaraficionado the communists can rest assured for a little longer
Don Pepin Original, my go to.
