I’ve built similar humidors and wine cellars for high end clients and I absolutely love the quality and the detail that went into to this. The same passion you have for cigars some people have for building the storage for them. I know you will be pleased with your choice for a long time.
Stunning Kirby. Congratulations! I felt like I was putting all the cigars in their place (the best part). Your logo on a plaque in the big display section would look good.
Its great to build and cherish the collection. But life short. Enjoy them all or feel good knowing your building legacy inheritence for your heirs. Much blessings to you and your family Kirby
Kirby, all your recent vids are timed perfectly. My wife and I are in the architectural phase of our forever home build, and I have a personal lounge/smoking room planned with a walk-in humidor. Seeing you go through the steps is a fantastic tutorial and guide!
First and foremost: what a killer thumbnail! Congratulations on such an exquisite humidor: it looks amazing when empty and sumptuous when filled with those wonderful boxes. I love it!
Just a thought: in the display section, you could maybe hang in the middle a Kirby Allison logo (the canon) that’s illuminated from behind so that the lighting projects all around it. I think it would complete this magnificent humidor!
I loved watching you sort and work out which cigars to store and display where. I have an extensive fragrance collection with some incredible masterpieces which I also take great pride in displaying in a cool dark cupboard. Some of the fragrances are so rare and sought after that I also don't want to break the cellophane on them or open the box lol. something special about collecting rare vintage masterpieces...whether fragrances or cigars!
Great to see everything on display and more importantly great to really see your natural personality come through on this and other more recent videos. Bravo
Having to build a walk in humidor/wine cellar due to lack of space is the type of first world problem I dream of suffering from. Congrats Kirby on the new addition to your house!
Beautiful builds, Kirby! My personal opinion for the centerpiece on the back wall would be a well crafted firearm of sorts. Maybe a Griffon and Howe shotgun
That middle section would be great for two slanted shelves so you can keep the lids open and display the cigars themselves. And maybe the shelf under the Oro Blanco could keep some emergency whiskey rations.
Absolutely beautiful and incredible Kirby. I store my cigars in a Daniel Marshall treasure chest humidor which I love, but I can only dream of this. Thank you for sharing with us.
One can never have too many cigars, one just needs to make more room. Awesome and beautiful walk in humidor Kirby! It’s every cigar connoisseurs dream to have a walk in cigar humidor, and you’ve finally made it happen and that’s awesome!
My head would be spinning trying to pick just one of those great smokes. Yes, the Davidoff Year of the Dragon should be in the middle of that display area. I love looking at that box, Davidoff to perfection.
That is really great humidor and of course, it will be small soon, but everything physical has it´s limits, so Kirby has to limit his collection, because there won´t be any space later. It is not possible to keep extending spaces infinitely. Still, it is already big collection, that is enaugh I guess, so Kirby should be satisfied and when he wants something new, he has to smoke like crazy older cigars and replace them with new ones. By the way, really good job!
Please get fire insurance to guard against a series of small fires that will likely occur daily over the course of years. Thank you, Kirby, for sharing this part of your home with us.
Thats a very nice looking walk in humidor. You have a wonderful start to your collection. Eventually you will triple that or more. Those boxes will be stacked double deep :). Tell the wife it is an excellent investment and the more age they get the more the investment appreciates. In reality she should be throwing money at you to load that up. :). In the future that wine will be gone and those shelves will be loaded as well. . Thank you so much for sharing this with us. One suggestion for those large spaces would be to have those special boxes on display as you do but on the back wall have some special photos of your cigar adventures or friends. Same on the wine side.
Kirby, you might think about wrapping some of those boxes in a BPA free food grade plastic wrap. Our group learned about this technique directly from MRN (rest in peace) around 2003-4. Humidity can still pass through the wrap albeit at a much slower pace thus slowing down the aging process offering benefits such as congener concentrations. I've noticed a huge flavor profile benefit sampling from 15-20 year old stock.
@@kirbyallison, you're very welcome and I'd love to chat more about our mutual passion and some of these details. No, the aesthetics are not ideal and when I build my walk-in, I'm going to hide the wrapped part of my collection from view while still benefiting from appropriate temps and humidity.
Looks fantastic congratulations! If you are looking for lighting options on the main center table maybe look at Saint Louis Crystal Folia Portable Crystal Lamp, Black Wood.
I don't want to play Jiminy Cricket all,but cigars are not just unhealthy, but plain dangerous and carcinogenic stuff.I follow your excellent channel from some time ago, and I feel benefited by your advise.Sorry saying that, but tobacco should be banned everywhere.I wish you the best in the world.Keep on posting your vids. The world is in need of people like you
What a thumbnail
I didn't know you were chill like that
Cringy. I can’t unsee it.
Now thats good clickbait. I immediately clicked the video 😂
Some would say, Kirby has a Cigar fetish.
Kirby says " He doesn't have enough cigars to smoke" How much cigars is he smoking per day.
Now that's a thumbnail I never thought I'd see, I love it 😂
Mannn thats not a good sign
How many caskets can you fit in that humidor?
I was watching and asked my son why Barbie kept popping up he repeatedly said: “he made it!!” 🤣🤣👏👏😂

@@Optim40 There always has to be a Debbie Downer in the midst 😴💤
Kirby takes this cigar hobby to another level.
Yeah… I would certainly be guilty as charged…
I‘ve seen shops that are not as well stacked
Chipmunk Kirby hoarding cigars in a pine-lined room may be one of my favorite things
istg half of this video sounded like a horrible mobile game ad hahaha
9:38 😂 I like that he starts to have this kind of moment in the video!
The thumbnail 😂 You keep surprising us...
I love it. Well done mr. Allison. Congrats on the beautiful humidor.
This is the best video kirby has produced so far, you did an amazing job.
I’ve built similar humidors and wine cellars for high end clients and I absolutely love the quality and the detail that went into to this. The same passion you have for cigars some people have for building the storage for them. I know you will be pleased with your choice for a long time.
Watching you arrange those shelves was so satisfying.... Congratulations Kirby.
Love the thumbnail. A gentleman with sense of humor.
I dip in and out of watching you Kirby but I swear to god more thumbnails like that I won’t be able to stop watching. Absolutely fantastic 😂
An incredible humidor ! Looks absolutely fantastic. Living the dream Kirby !
Phenomenal humidor ❤ phenomenal cigar collection ❤
Stunning Kirby. Congratulations! I felt like I was putting all the cigars in their place (the best part). Your logo on a plaque in the big display section would look good.
Kirby you should adjust your shelf pins so the shelves are on a slight angle so you can see the face of the boxs
I was not ready for that thumbnail, but I'm so here for it 😂
The friend lockers are the coolest part
Congratulations on your walk-in humidor. May you have wonderful memories and share with us those memories to come. ❤🙏🏼

This is the pure perfection. Enjoy!
I’ve seen this thumbnail a couple of times and I JUST realized what channel it was for and I immediately had to watch 😂 How amazing 😂

Mr. Kirby your thumbnail is a masterpiece. You’re normally in boss mode, you should think about making a video in that costume.
Just a thought: in the display section, you could maybe hang in the middle a Kirby Allison logo (the canon) that’s illuminated from behind so that the lighting projects all around it. I think it would complete this magnificent humidor!

What a collection, no wonder you wanted a walk-in humidor. Beautiful craftsmanship and a stunning collection of cigars. Congratulations

Now you have to fill the wine section Kirby. Great place for a great man. Congratulations on great humidor.
O! M! G! 😮 That is pure class and elegance Kirby. I'm in awe!!! ❤

lmao, the FI-R breakdown was a nice touch

Truly a dream walk-in humidor. Congratulations Kirby!
Everything looks phenomenal. I especially love the Davidoff section.
I'm not a smoker, but if you are going to enjoy the craft/lifestyle, do it right and it really looks like you did an amazing job. Enjoy.
I think you're ready to open the American branch of Davidoff of London Kirby! Nice work!
Remarkable and inspiring. Hope you enjoy every cigar likes it’s both your first and last one.
This is absolutely brilliant 👏🏾
Happy smoking
40 years from now when Kirby’s kids are cleaning out the house, they’re going to find a couple hundred boxes of cigars that he hid from his wife!😁
Next years havana man of the year, a legend 🔥
Absolutely beautiful and incredible Kirby. I store my cigars in a Daniel Marshall treasure chest humidor which I love, but I can only dream of this. Thank you for sharing with us.

I couldn’t possibly agree more!
Craftsmanship indeed! Congrats Kirby!
WOW!!! You gotta show your cigars - looking at boxes is boring for sure. Congratulations on accomplishing one of your dreams.

Absolutely stunning humidor!!!! 😍
Amazing!!
congrats on the humidor!!! That opening thumbnail photo is hillarious!!!
Absolutely amazing mate I can’t wait for a private tour! I’ll have to bring you a box to celebrate the new humidor.
Adam
Absolutely splendid dear Kirby. A truly magnificent space for wine 🍷 and exceptional cigars. Congratulations 🎉 kind regards, S.
I would be curious to see if your Cabernet Sauvignon wines over time take on a delicious smoky flavour or bouquet 🍷
You should name your humidor "Davidoff of Texas".
Nice thumbnail and killer green wife-disclaimer midway through - Very good humor and well made!
Looking reasons to hate on you because I'm envious😂😂😂 beautiful my friend
Brilliant cover photo 😂👌
It is beautiful
Kirby, that thumbnail made me burst out laughing. Love to see the lighter side.
Amazing. Congrats, Kirby!
Congratulations man. Well deserved. Just saw you around the festival, didn't have the opportunity to say hi, next time. Beautiful Humi.
This is great
Definitely need some lighting in the shelves. Especially if you're going to have "open boxes" sitting in them.

Thank you for sharing that! I’ll look into it, although not sure how crazy I am on the idea of the appearance of everything wrapped in plastic

The warning bit was so funny
Kirby, for crying out loud, you’re humidor is almost bigger than the one in my local cigar shop 🤣 It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m jealous.
Would love to try that Partagas one day. It's Michael Jordan's favorite cigar 😎
a hand painted cigar label themed painting right on the wood in the open space above the cabinet would be awesome
Looks fantastic congratulations! If you are looking for lighting options on the main center table maybe look at Saint Louis Crystal

Great video, Kirby. And your suit is just so sharp.
So.... 2 thoughts. 1.... It's the first La Casa Del Habano in the DFW area. 2.....looked like a giant game of Jenga.
Nice job! Enjoy.
Beautiful work!
Beautiful Kirby looks awesome 👍
Appreciate the humor in this episode
Perhaps introduce fixings to dsiplay some fine boxes at an angle. Maybe on the back wall?
Freakin’ amazing Kirby, well done sir 👏🏻
Beautiful humidor.
I will refer to this video when someone says my cigar hoarding has gone out of control.
i would LOVE top see a Kirby Allison series about hauling the humidor ana updating the stock
Well done you, Kirby
