Do we break down the pomegranate seeds by Chewing them to get the nutrients or swallow whole seeds?
Hello! Dr. Gundry prefers the juice of the pomegranate to get the nutrients from. You can swallow the seeds or spit them out if you would like.

Avocado's 🥑, olive oil 🛢, pomegranate fruit.
I come from the land of abundant a vo’s since I was born,Southern California, poms too were abundant there use to be poms lining the streets, but for years they were not around so much,now popular again you can get them in season,they don’t grow everywhere here anymore,and there lower quality.I get the seeds ones in containers at Trader Joe’s, eat olive oil everyday, it makes me sad my grandkids will never get to enjoy the delicious split open , big poms that I grew up with same with apricots

Pomegranates I know are very healthy, but are VERY EXPENSIVE in Australia 🇦🇺

Check if it's mentioned on the label. A lot of the industrialized olive oils are not pure olive oil, but mixed with or mainly sunflower oil.
Extra virgin
More important than what kind of olive oil is better, is consuming it raw, cooked oil is toxic, that’s why so much emphasis is placed on cold pressed, to keep its properties
these oils are amazing stay away from seed oils

Olives will not have the concentrated amount of polyphenols that olive oil contains!

@@GundryMDYT best olive oil is made from green olives by cold pressure unfiltered and kept in dark glass bottles. olive oil is not just like any other oil it is a miracle food of nature but you must know what determines its quality and how to keep it.once you open that oil's bottle, you must consume the whole glass in a relativelly short amount of time because it deteriates quicklly!! omega 3's are oxygen heat and time sensitive ok???

I’m obsessed with guacamole so I personally won’t need the oil version 😄 and same with the pomegranate fiber and seeds which would keep you satiated longer and won’t spike insulin

The only problem for me is the pomegranate. It contains 40 grams of carbs. I'm allowed about 20 grams of carbs per day. I could eat one quarter of a pomegranate since I eat low carb veggies too.
