These documentaries however well put together by such talented people only relate what is the preferred account for the public perception by whoever discloses the information.
There are no historical public posts concerning the eldest son of Edward 7th and Alexandra who was born unannounced, baptized and abandoned in June 1862.
This event was not made, nor is being made, public, until right now, with this revelation.
      Why now?
The descendants of the abandoned son have irrefutable evidence of DNA that show zero distance from the Royal Family members.
      Zero distance.
Unfortunately, the Royal Family are treating their "new" Royal Family relatives with disdain and ignoring them and have done so since the announcement of the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth 2nd.
      Hence the publicity now.
      Oh dear...

The royals time and effort they put towards charities is remarkable even in their later years. The late queen will be missed by so many around the world for a long time to come. I still remember her coming to Quebec in the 70s when I was about 3 yrs old everyone lined the streets very excited and how her calm voice during covid just made everyone feel better. I'm sure with all the cruel comments that keep coming their way and being blamed for ancestors that were in power 100s of years before they were born they would love to walk away some days but instead they keep showing up to all the non profits and events that count on them because at the end of the day the haters are just a small percentage. Still they insist on trying to ruin happy events like the coronation with their screaming and shouting not my King. If you get your wish and take away the Royal family you in the end take away jobs and a big percent of the tourism that many earn a living on. Try helping those in need instead of picketing and you might soon find that your hate is replaced by hope. :)

"The Traitor King" is an excellent book that just came out. Churchill ordered all the documents proving Edward's collusion with the Nazis destroyed. The author puts the true story together from other sources -- mostly the letters of people who knew him. And the two of them were horrible -- HORRIBLE -- people. Just hilariously bad. They treated their staff terribly; one servant whose wife had died asked Wallis if he could leave early so he could put his kids to bed. Wallis told him if he did leave, he shouldn't come back. One of the Rothschilds let Edward stay at her palace while they were waiting for Walis to be available to marry again. He was very sad and stayed on the phone with Wallis for hours. $800 phone bills arrived and the Duke assumed his hostess would pay them (she did). They were notoriously cheap. The night the Duke gave his speech, he left to sail across to France. During the voyage, he started sending out telegrams to all his friends about what he'd done. When the Duke was told he'd need to pay for telegrams sent from the ship once they got closer to France, the Duke ordered the ship back out to sea. Then he bragged about saving money. Oh my God they were horrible.

Interesting story about how the relationship between the Prince of Wales and Wallis Simpson came to be... Lady Furness née Thelma Morgan (whose name was actually pronounced 'Telma', with the 'h' silent), was the twin sister of Gloria Morgan Vanderbilt, widow of Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt and mother of 'Little Gloria', who would become famous in her own right as an actress, model, fashion designer, painter, author, businesswoman, and of course, as the mother of Anderson Cooper.
Gloria Morgan Vanderbilt and her sister in law Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney were locked in a custody battle over Little Gloria that would eventually be adjudicated in a New York City courtroom in what was then called the 'Trial of the Century'. As the trial was set to begin, Lady Furness decided to go to New York City to serve as moral support for her twin sister. Before leaving, she asked her best friend at the time to look after her 'Little Man' while she was away. That man of course was the Prince of Wales, and her best friend was Wallis Simpson. Lady Furness never saw her 'Little Man' again after this.

He wasn’t a conservative that wanted a wife and many kids, quite opposite, he wanted just to keep having mistresses. Diana Mitford's husband was named Sir Oswald Moseley, not Sir Edward. And the gentleman from The Sun got it wrong altogether. The Duke of Windsor made a half hearted attempt at excusing himself in his memoirs, but he did finally acknowledge that he was wrong in his support of Hitler. Of course he did it in his characteristic way of minimising the support he had for him. Unlike Mosely who went on to try to found a European fascist party after the War (which failed everywhere except in Italy...his party there sent 32 delegates to the European Parliament before the party was disbanded).

True. She was receiving carnations daily from one of Hitler's minions. It is also known that David and Wallace were Nazi sympathizers and that was brought to the attention of Mr. Churchill and many others, so the mention of her on-going affair of the car salesman during her affair with David was not all of the story. She loved BEING with edward. Better parties and Hitler was powerful so more fun. This is so sad. As a teenager I was in love with this romance but in the end things worked out. "Bertie," his brother became King George VI and he was a kind person whose daughter is not only your Queen but a lovely woman.

…IMO, someone had better chat either the fact checker the narrator or both…… At about 6:07, it states that Edward was 36 years old and Wallis 41 years old. I do not know how this is possible when every reference I have seen/read has them both born in the month of June, she in 1896, he in 1894… Some thing isn’t adding up correctly??… …

Prince Edward was quite a play boy. Always playing around. Edward had no interest in becoming King of England. He was having too much fun. Fun doing nothing . Wallace wanted fame. And thought getting close to Edward was the answer. Wallace never loved or cared for Edward it was all pretense to get her a change of life.

Her life would be very different if she was his mistress. That was the point, being married to their lovers and seeing someone on the side. The wickedness of these people is evil as hell. I don’t think King Edward VIII wanted to play, he wanted to changed the way of that era and society was not ready, there was no way he was going to get married to Simpson. He was a fool to not married any other woman and keeping her as mistress. I am sure he was going to meet another married woman move on from Simpson. At that time, politically, out side forces didn’t wanted him to be king anyways, he wasn’t a Hittler sympathizer, he was a socialist sympathizer, very dangerous for that time. Historians don’t speak about how his idea of monarchy was way different from what was going on at that time, he wanted to help people. He was a mixture of playboy with a sincere interest in his subjects lives.

In a decree in 1701, members of the royal family were not permitted to enter into marriage with Roman Catholics
. 1* The monarch of the family is the de facto head of the Church of England, which is Protestant in nature.
2* Throughout history, this prohibition led to many disruptions in the line of succession and validities of marriage, such as that of King George IV to the Catholic Maria Fitzherbert, which wasn’t recognised.
3* The marriage of King Edward to Wallis Simpson is another case to recall
4* As the British monarch, Edward was the nominal head of the Church of England, which at this time did not allow divorced people to remarry in church if their Ex-Spouses were still alive.
5* For this reason, it was widely believed that Edward could not marry Simpson and remain on the throne
6* Early life and education. Tom Parker Bowles was born on 18 December 1974 in London. He and his sister Laura were raised as Roman Catholics
7* The Queen Consort s parents went to
Holy Trinity Church in Stourpaine, Dorset,
and her father and brother Mark Shand' s
funeral were held at the same church
8* Children and grandchildren of Parker Bowles and Camelia were brought up in their father's Roman Catholic faith, particularly during the lifetime of their paternal grandmother Ann Parker Bowles; Wikipedia
8* How is it Camilla remained an Anglican when she was baptised as Roman Catholic and also raised her children as Roman Catholics
9* Are Children of Roman Catholic parents baptised before they are a yr old ?
10* Therefore Mr and Mrs Shand as parents of baby Camelia Shand baptised their daughter as a Roman Catholic
11* When one is baptised as a Roman Catholic at birth can you at some age in a later part of life switch to Protestant because you choose to divorce the Roman Catholic husband , Parker Bowles to marry a Royal Prince who is an Anglican .
12**Queen of England to be crowned is very Catholic even though she prefers to belong to the Angelican Faith
Unless she attended a special Church Ceremony to convert into the Anglican
Faith after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles
Her entourage as siblings and ex husband's family ,children, grandchildren her late parent ,late brother and all other family members are or were Roman Catholics

    Google search
One instance in which the Anglican Church forbids a second church wedding for divorced persons is if the new relationship contributed to the breakdown of the first marriage, Ed Condon, a Catholic canon lawyer in the U.K., told CNA.
12* This was what prevented a church wedding for Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005. (Google /Wiki)
13* "The opposition to Edward VIII was, first of all, that society didn't recognize divorce as something that was good at the time, and now it does, unfortunately," he said
    Royals marrying Catholics
14* owever, if she were a Catholic, this too would have been an obstacle to her marrying into the royal family until very recently.
15**Opposition to Catholics ascending to the throne dates back to King Henry VIII, who broke from the Catholic Church in the 1500s in order to divorce his wife, Catherine of Aragon, and marry another, because he blamed Catherine for failing to produce a son who could succeed to the throne.
16* The Succession to the Crown Act 2013 allowed heirs to the throne to marry Catholics, among other changes. However, the law still stipulates that the acting British sovereign mustn't be a Catholic.
17* For this Long awaited Coronation many rules and traditions may be shelved.
They may allow family members including children and grandchildren of her ex husband though Roman Catholics and commoners to participate in the Coronation event itself
18* Will the Government of Great Britain and Archbishops have to explain to taxpayers ,why were the strict royal regulations not exercised ??
19* Taxpayers have a right to know as it depletes the Government's Budget on welfare and we'll being of the citizens of the country .

Documents at Windsor cite The Archbishop of Canterbury & PM Stanley Baldwin were more than complicit in the Abdication. Had it been the situation now what would they have done about the behaviour of the current POW & his Mistress/ wife. When looking at History it is more than useful to do so through the cultural lens of that era. Not that that in any way excuses explains nor justifies the behaviours of The Royal Family and the current POW Charles.
