    Pretty good review! I like that you accurately described (and demonstrated) the camera issue, but the lock-on issue can be remedied by turning off automatic lock-ons in the Options and adjusting whether you want lock-on to focus on the closest enemy to you or closest enemy to the center of your camera’s facing direction.
    The lore is pretty spot on, save for the accommodation for player participation. For example, in Gato VS Kou true mission, the GP03 Dendrobium is not destroyed by the Neue Ziel, so the Stamen never fights the Neue Ziel on the colony’s surface like in the mission.

      Thank you! I appreciate it!
      Was that option in settings an addition after initial launch by chance? I usually check all the settings before I even start playing a game but don't recall that option. Maybe I just missed it though.
      Good to hear the lore is accurate too! I've got one hell of a watchlist before I'm caught up haha but nevertheless would like to get there!

    I'm on PC so performance is going to differ for me ofc. I have relatively no issues at all when playing but my specs are there. Not the best but definitely at least in the upper half I'd say. I have a lot of fun with this game often. I'm also lucky to be on the pc version because the pc version has a bitchin table that really cuts down play time and you can make or edit any part you want with it even max out your capital, friendship values, and ai companion levels. I've even got perfect parts and far more broken parts than that. I have fun going around online and assisting random players. My favorite feature of the game is probably being able to put in your own music and set individual levels on them all. It's great.

      Good to hear there's no issues on PC and awesome there are additional features to take advantage of there. I definitely think multiplayer is where the game shines the brightest, teaming up to help with the grind is always a good time!

      @@ItsMrSkitzThere is one glaring issue on PC, and it’s the target switching being incredibly erratic on mouse. There is an official patch note stating that they fixed the issue to allocating target switching on mouse to be up or down on the middle mouse key, but as of May 2024, the game still suffers from the slightest mouse motion potentially causing a target switch. This makes later missions with greater mob density a nightmare; and gods forbid a boss encounter has high mob density. 6B Chaos’s dual-boss encounter is practically unplayable when near the helper mobs.

      @@holyordersol2668 Goodness gracious, I've seen it on console, I can hardly imagine how much worse it is with mouse and keyboard. Hopefully they actually patch that sooner than later. Sounds like a nightmare

    Good review. If you play as a sharpshooter, the camera is way easier to deal with and you can take more breaks to read dialog lol. It honestly feels like a different game. Also doesn't suffer from the uncancellable combos you mentioned! The lore is pretty darn accurate and they even make some self referential commentary about the complexities of it back at Ilion. They made a lot of the deaths happen off screen as to not kill the mood, if there is a nitpick to be had about accuracy. A TON of people die including main characters lol. I appreciated that they tell you if something is canon or not because (story/break) because in Super Robot Wars, I sometimes am not even sure if something is happening for fun or to reference events that really happened.

      Thank you, I really appreciate it! I definitely should have mentioned the difference in feel between classes too, because you're right, as a sharpshooter it's a totally different experience. Good to hear they did well with the lore too! I honestly just started getting into Gundam a few years ago, so for me to get up to speed with all the timelines before this game would just be too much haha but eventually I'll get there!

    DLCs are needed to advance in the game?

    • @ItsMrSkitz
      @ItsMrSkitz  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nope! Not to my knowledge at least. You should be able to complete the entirety of the story mode without any actual money spent.

      No DLC required for the main story. There are, however, DLC missions. How much they tie into the main story, i am unsure of atm. I’m waiting to finish the main story before i start the DLC ones.
