This episode got me into comics when J was a freshman in high school. I read the whole ultimate run and fell in love with it and read comics ever since!

You say that but Stephen Amell, the actor on Arrow has been in 2 wrestling promotions (one WWE and one for AEW) as a non-professional wrestler. Edit: Clarifying to say this was in direct response to it not happening now a days. The last time this happened as far as I can remember was probably Kenny Omega and the match he had that led up to Saga of the Golden Lovers. It was very interesting stuff.

I was so excited when they brought back Spider-Men!! It took several years, but it finally concluded an amazing hook and ended up being an amazing occasion of tying up loose ends.
This is the series that got me into reading comics but since I only read these in trade and I've always found that anything that I've read of bendis' reads so much better in trade. So I'd love to thank everyone who kept this book going.
to me the bests parts of Back issues is the insights of the Marvel's creators. I really want to know more about how the company and its employees were acting.

I both loved and hated this series while younger. I just got so frustrated that Spider-Man didn't seem that competent and out of his depth (which to be fair is realistic). I think I need to re read this series now I'm older and I can appreciate it for what it is.
I love the original Spidey origin story, but I'm REALLY loving the modernized, Ultimate version. I was actually getting a little emotional until Ethan brought up doxing Uncle Ben's killer. 😂😂😂

Ultimate Spiderman was what got me into superhero comics a couple of years ago, before it was only independents and some vertigo. Now I read about 80% of what Marvel prints for their main universe. Glad to see it picked up as an ongoing series here. Will you be doing the big crossovers as well? As I recall them a few were cool, a few meh and a few batshit bonkers.

I think the idea of Osborn using his own DNA is it would likely be much safer and have mental improvements as well. I remember in a thing of Ultimate Hulk Banner mentions that all the super soldier serums tried to make the person smarter as well, obviously came about later but could have been an idea early on.

Did you ever read the 1st two issues of Ultimate Marvel Team-Up? Bendis wrote every issue of that title, and he had Wolverine in the 1st two issues.
