Totally agree. I still think the 4th gen was the best model and the interior unique and great and what made it extra special. One of the reasons I never bothered with a 5th gen. It didn't give me the same vibes when I drove it. Though it was great to drive it just felt like a Civic or Accord inside.
I hope has at least 400hp and hybrid great fuel economy around town but also on hwy, plus manual, plus ➕️ available SH-AWD and type R version more powerful with extras. I hope for us in North America Canada get Acura versions too
Great look car but i dont like the blue stripe on the splitter. The only FWD sports hatch on sale here? Is the Type R not FWD. Go now? I didn't know that. Good review Tish.
No, the last production Prelude wasn't the 4th gen it was the 5th Gen. Get your facts right. And this is from a Honda franchise, says it all. I miss the old (Honda) dealership days when the staff were genuinely enthusiastic about their Hondas and were friendly and helpful, no matter how young or old you were or what you looked like. Regarding the new model, I quite like it. It's got a bit of a 4th gen appearance at the front. The one thing I really hate about it is that awful Honda sign on the back. I really hope that won't be in the production car. Better to leave it out. Love the original style 'Prelude' logo on it though.
I rather a petrol car that has high emissions drinks petrol leaks oil breaks down once a year then own that electric razor. Looks nothing like the previous generations just has the name not the heart.
It would be so cool if the interior got an updated Gen 4 style instrument cluster 👌😉

This is a really cool looking car. Loved the Prelude as a kid. Wonder how much it will be? Pricey I bet.

I think you need to be more realistic
This isn’t meant to be a record breaking sports car. It’s meant to be a competitor to the Subru BRZ and the Toyota GT/GR 86
Yea this isn’t happening 😂 it will be auto and lucky if it’s near 250bhp
@smilepermile8165 not impossible for Honda
@@ICalverz unless you have insider knowledge, 200hp is ridiculous as civic si is 200 hp unless it's 2,000lbs less
Honda preludes are notchback coupes, this one is giving me Prius vibes at the front and Prius logbook vibes at the rear.

If it doesn't come with a 2.0t setup pushing at least 260hp, it will be a dud.

Hybrid, Eeew. A nice high revving DOHC petrol Honda engine of old would have been nice
Hybrid shouldn't be called the prelude . The real Prelude died with the h22a along time ago.
I'm fine with hybrid as long as it's still manual and it torque fills rather than for efficiency
@@Dr.Duck22doubt this car will be manual 😂
