    Dear Magda,
I know the specific of STANAG exam. However, my question is related to what could be an estimate on STANAG level based on results from other exams. I am asking this because one can easily get results from various testing but not from STANAG. For instance, is it reasonable to believe that after a band 7 on IELTS TEST I would get level 3 in STANAG?
Thank you in advance for taking a risk to give me your guess on this.
    D

Hi David! I'd say it's rather for a general idea and orientation, but here you are, a table with different exams compared from the NATO website: www.nato.int/structur/recruit/info-doc/Language%20test%20equivalence%20table_FINAL2011.pdf
However, I do not agree with it. Imo Level 2 is definitely more than A2 level (I'd say it's B1-B1+) and Level 3 is closer to C1 rather than B2.

Magda doesn't bother you by adding the English subtitles to the videos. There is too much texts on the screen and we can not focus on the subject. It is enough that we see your face and we can follow you by your mouth. Anyway, you give more tips and tricks for 2 and 3 level and probably the majority that follows this channel practices alones before the exam. Have you been also a Stanag Evaluator?

      1. I haven't added any subtitles, they might be automatically generated by TH-cam. If that's the case, you can always turn them off :).
      2. I focus on Levels 2 and 3 as they are the most requested by students.
      3. I haven't been the examiner, although I'm considering it as a future self-development and career path. Who knows! 😁

@@MilitaryEnglishTeacher Thank you so much. It is true, for 1 level people joins an English course, but for 2 and 3 they only want to learn by themselves.
I've just wanted to make you work less and focus only on the information, not on the format.
You will be known in my country too, not only Poland and Spain. Keep doing it! 😊

I don't really know how you can define the specific features of the STANAG 6001 exam as there's no such official exam. You don't pass SLP 3 or 4, you must demonstrate evidence of your proficiency regarding the criteria and the descriptors of the STANAG during an assessment. NATO countries are free to design their own tests to assess their staff, provided they respect STANAG 6001 criteria. Therefore, there's no tricks or tips to pass any level. This is pure BS.

I'm sorry, who are you? 😉 Somehow my BS, as you call it, helped dozens of students from different NATO countries pass their Stanag/ SLP and JFLT exams. 😊 Enjoy your Saturday and take a chill pill💊.

@@MilitaryEnglishTeacher Can you be a bit more specific? Which exam are you talking about? I attended most of the BILC seminars and never heard of an official SLP exam, but you seem to know more about it than the people who deal with the issue.

@@inoxmozzer I'm talking about the Stanag exams that I'm familiar with - the Polish format (tests, assessment criteria and specifics are available for everyone to download, easier for those speaking Polish, though 😉), the Spanish one (that I have sample tests of) and the Italian one (JFLT). I work with students from those countries and I'm perfectly familiar with the differences and nuances of those Stanag exam variations.

@@inoxmozzer You haven't heard about an official exam format, cause it doesn't exist. We agree on that and I have never said that there is one format only. Obviously not.
