I used the factory bracket on the rear. Then I used the rear mounting bracket that came with the hydraulic brakes on the front with no washers. I had to tighten the adjustment on the new brakes further than stock. It took a little bit of riding to brake them in. Just the way I did mine.
Oh, I'm sure there's other ways to go about the install. Just trying to make it as easy as possible for everyone. Thanks to you though, I was able to get a good deal on these!
yea, i just bought zoom hydraulic brakes for my Ariel rider x-class V3 and hoping they will fit and work, but yes this video helped me to understand better on how to mount them, now my question is, when i replace both the calipers and brake levers, do i have to bleed the brakes or is there a way to do that without having to bleed the brakes ?
Hi Randy, may i know the status of your HB-100? As i saw many videos are saying the HB-100 leaks oil just after a few months, as i want to buy one, i want to know your comment after 2 years. Thanks.
Hydrailic brakes that are cable actuated? The idea is that fluids transfer all of the force while cables stretch. If you keep the cables you don't have hydraulic brakes
I'm 62, 208 pounds with some arthritis and I just don't understand why I need to change the brakes on my Rideal. The stock brakes are powerful and work fine and are easy to use. I do work in construction but I doubt that my grip strength is that much higher than the average person. I'll grant you that this mod may be beneficial for a small child with small hands though.
Hey is there another way to unlock the controller then to use the egg controller? I seen other videos where you can tape off an electrical connection and that prevents the limiter from controlling the speed

That intro was dope as hell
Idk if I’m happy with it yet, but progress…

You’re going backwards. The brakes on the X-Class are way better than these!
Have you had any issues with these calipers leaking?

They are cable actuated hydraulic brakes. These are not actually true hydraulic brakes.

It’s all personal preference, just like anything.
Randy, are there any options for full hydraulic brakes on the Rideal while keeping the motor cutoff sensors?
Probably overkill on the Rideal, tbh.
🤔So this is not a complete install guide if you leave the handle grip setup 🤨

No
Do we have to replace anything on the handlebars ?? do we have to put mineral oil
No
Stop making me buy things 🤣
Remove the plastic spacer last.
Your calipers will bleed and lose oil.
What rear bag is that?
