This video is excellent. A lot of other videos like this the tech blocks the camera a lot with their head and hands. But this video is very clear and has all the needed information to do the repair. Thanks for taking the time to make this.

Hello. I hope you’re well. Thank you so much for this video. I followed your instructions to the T, reassembled my phone, and now my microphone is not working properly. Do you know what may be the issue? I’ve done tests with the voice memos and with dictation, and it does not work.

Hello, I did this repair and everything works fine with the charging etc. but now my
bluetooth and wifi is very glitchy and constantly drops out. do you think this could be related to the repair or is it just a coincidence? i thought i didn’t even touch any of the antennas
Not sure what could have caused that. That antenna/flex is on top of the phone nowhere near the charge port
Hopefully it can be resolved by replacing it

Try another charge port
It’s possible that was damaged or malfunctioning
Or reinstall the old part. If only to confirm the mic does or doesn’t work
please what do you do if it still doesn't charge after changing the port?

Its does shows popup on the screen that part has changed after replacemenr
As of now the only ‘unknown part’ messages are on the: 1) screen 2)battery 3) rear camera.
So no messages after this repair
Hi. I replaced the charging port on the same model. Charging is fine now, but the phone is unreachable when called, then gets a notification of the call in SMS.
When trying to call its completely silent.
Mobile network is working, and there is strong signal.
Have you tried reinstalling your old port. Just to rule out the part as the cause of the issue

I ordered two ports just in case, and both are faulty the same way

Yes. I use 99% in all my videos
This makes me sad. Watching what will need to be done to my brand new $1,500, 3 week old phone to fix this problem. So much will need to be taken apart😕

I bought 13 pro max from a store second hand a month ago after four days, I faced a problem with the battery drop so fast at night I let him at 100 when I woke up it 90
And so on every time I did not use it spend the charge Pls help
Battery drain could be any number of things. Generally replacing the battery is the first step. After that it’s everything from turning notifications off to changing email settings from push to pull, etc

My iPhone 13 pro max is facing a problem for about 10 days now amd I'm going crazy, I can't find out what is exactly wrong with it!
So, 10 days ago when i went back home i put my phone on the charger and while using it for about 3-4 minutes while it's plugged in, the phone restarted itself, i was confused in the beginning and thought it was a one time thing but the problem kept happening as long as the phone is plugged in! And it is still happening until now. The only way i can fully charge my phone is to plug it in and then power off the phone. My phone is still new I purchased it 8 months ago! I tried reaching for authorized apple service but they told me they can't do anything even if i payed since I haven't purchased the phone from Russia ( yes right now im in russia and i have purchased the phone from Saudi Arabia before coming to Russia). At this point I can't even use my warranty because im not in the country I purchased the phone from

Also, there is this crazy important display message that appears in the settings saying : unable to determine if your iPhone display is a genuine apple part. Take into consideration that this message appeared in the same day I found out about the restarting issue when plugged in.
3 min boot loop is a panic report issue. You can double check that in settings/privacy/analytics, and improvements/analytics data look for panic reports and the corresponding data
The first thing I would try in this scenario is replacing the battery or the charge port or both
If it’s not that it sounds like a board level problem that needs the skill of the microsolder

Once the phone is open there’s no way to guarantee full water resistance
Always try cleaning out the charging port before resorting to replacement
