Way back in the early 90's the government encouraged Malls outside the city center and into residential areas... so now each residential area has its own Mall... this disperses congestion and traffic out of the city centre...❤❤❤

2:44 As an asian, eating rice with fork makes no sense to me. I mean let's forget cultural practices/habits etc.... would it be better to scoop rice with a fork or with a spoon to put it in your mouth? 😅😅

    • @JeremiahBrewer00
      @JeremiahBrewer00  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      🤣
You can’t actually forget cultural habits and mention “ as an Asian “ at the same time. I think it’s a personal preference. I prefer a very large spoon with no fork, personally.
What’s interesting is that a lot of people have opinions about the way others enjoy their food. Chopsticks, for instance, aren’t nearly the most efficient tool for a lot of dishes but their cultural use makes them a top choice in many instances. I like talking about this stuff btw. 🙏🏾

Welcome to Malaysia. 14:05 Those “arts” are from the indigenous people of East Malaysia (Malaysian Bornean States of Sabah and Sarawak). Do come and visit us.
14:28 Correct. Those are known as “ilang” (pronounced “eee-lung”) and used to belong to the headhunting indigenous people of Borneo including the Malaysian Borneo. To learn more than what the gallery has shown you, visit the second largest museum in SEA in Kuching, Sarawak (the Borneo Cultures Museum).

If you guys are coming back to Malaysia again, try visiting cooler (in terms of temperature) attractions like :-
    1) Genting Highlands, with outdoor and indoor theme parks which is great not just for your kid but both of you too. Put up a night would be good.
    2) Cameron Highlands, known for its tea plantations with some extra attractions.
    3) Bukit Tinggi French Village, with other extras like small rabbit farm, Japanese garden.
Good to bring along a thin jacket, sometimes they could get a little cold.

Nothing is perfect but my message to everyone is that Malaysia is very nice and worth more than a quick visit. Can’t wait to go back.

The food being good means it can’t be overrated for me 🤣 How much of the country have you experienced? For me, just KL for a few days so I can only go based on that for now.

    Welcome to Malaysia.
You must be careful in making design or whatever image of your video thumbnail.
You put a statue of idols image under the flag of Malaysia. For me its look intentional if not, good, be careful then. You obviously know this is majority Muslim country.
    1) Put the flag above. Please respect other country flag.
    2) The moon in the flag represent the official religion in Malaysia which is Islam.
    3) The yellow color represent the constitutional monarch, the King of Malaysia.
    4) Above all, Malaysian flag represent the unity of Malaysian.
Enjoy your visit in Malaysia. Stay safe, healthy & happy.

Thanks for the insight! I had no idea. I knew about the country’s religious affiliation but didn’t think about the symbolism. I appreciate your thorough and yet kind words. I’ll see what I can do, what you said makes perfect sense and I intend no harm. Please stand by.

I went ahead and changed the thumbnail in lieu of what you shared. Thank you for letting me know gracefully.
