I would rather drive this than a Lamborghini!
..damn straight!..and MUCH rather drive this than any of those god-awful "crossover" monstrosities they make nowadays...
That Turquois blue takes me back. Those pastel colors were popular in the late 50s.
I had one of these with the straight six. I am reminded at 1:04 how every time we pulled into a full-service gas station, we had to get out and show the guy where the gas filler was. It's behind a rollover door on the driver side under the trunk lid. The one on the passenger side is a fake.
What wasn't spectacular was the wiper system which was operated by vacuum. The wipers would completely stop when driving up an incline.
My grandpa has one with flames on it
I learned to drive on my dads 62 chevy pickup 3 on the column I've never liked a automatic since
Had a 4 door right hand drive 58 Belair for 18 years. Was original with 283 motor.
this car is just beautiful I love that 50s blue paint job on it the interior is just awesome the car is so clean underneath
This is pretty much my dream car.
Muy bonito carrazo.
Really nice looking car they don’t make emm like that anymore.
..ain't that the truth!.."but they don't have all the safety features new cars have"...who gives a sh*t, you live only once..just put some seat belts in it and call it good...
This has been my favorite car all my life but I could never afford it now that my cars are gone
Awesome!
Now thats a sweet 58!!!
Not a tri-5 but pretty cool still
Do you still have that car for sale??
Did they really offer Disk Brakes back then?
The Tucker had disc brakes in 1946.
..no, but you can add them if you want..don't really need them, though-just make sure the drums and shoes are in good shape, and adjusted properly...nobody knows how to do that anymore, plus everybody is used to speeding up to a stop and just stabbing on the brakes suddenly nowadays, instead of slowing down gradually..annoying, really..you can't tell if they are actually going to stop until the last second...
Can any American explain to me why do u call big cars a baby and a big Ship or aeroplane a girl Like I love this girl or call your girl friend a baby Hi Baby
Its a cultural thing, women are viewed as trophies in our culture. So it bled over to our material possessions as well.
