  • The 3rd generation of the Chevrolet Bel Air was built in 1958 in order to build the shorter designs of the model car’s predecessor which was produced in 1957. Not only were the 1958 Bel Air models longer than the models from 1957, but they were also lower and a lot heavier in comparison. They also came with a new engine option which was not available in the previous model.

In 1958, the Impala was the top of the line, which was also called a Pontiac Parisienne, in Canada.

The Bel Air in Canada, was also called a Pontiac Laurentian, with Chevy motors, but wasn't a U.S Pontiac, that had Pontiac motors.

In 1958 there were 3 Transmissions. 3-speed manual trans. Two automatics, the Powerglide and Turboglide! Look it up!

YOU ARE CORRECT, OURS HAD THE TURBOGLIDE TRANS, YOU NEVER FELT IT SHIFT. VERY QUIET ALSO
COMPARED TO THE 2 SPEED POWERGLIDE. IT HAD A VERY LOW GEAR CALLED GRADE RETARD FORGOING DOWN STEEP
      INCLINES.

You gotta redo this video... when you narrate this video you show aftermarket engines and display incorrect models that you mention....

We search videos online and we use them, on some few cases we cannot find all the models so we have to show something visually to you, sorry about that but we are doing our best to find the proper models of all cars.
