Hello mate, tbf he wasn’t trying to rip your money off there. That’s indeed the local price here in Sri Lanka and I’m quite shocked that he only charged you 2500 rupees cause the profit margin for him was really low. With the current inflation, I would say 3000 would be a fair price even for the locals. Don’t blame you tbh, cause you get that instinct from the bad experiences you had with the scammers. He was deffo a honest man though. Love your vlogs mate 🇱🇰🙌🏼

Well I wouldn’t say that Harry tried to scam him, I can understand why he tried to bargain. Most street venders have a bad reputation for overcharging locals and tourist. But it’s just this shop owner in particular I wanted to point out that he was honest and not trying to overcharge Harry.

Trinco is One of the best place in our country. Thank you for visit there and I wish to be there actually. Very honest people in trinco. Not charging over price for anything. They are right our life is very very difficult bacause of this politicians. Otherwise everything good in our country.

in Hindu tradition cow is not considered sacred animal. it is considered mother by many Hindus because in the ancient times almost every family had at least one cow. they grown up drinking that cows milk. cowdung of that cow used to enrich the soil and produce nutritious food to eat. because of that people were loving and caring about the cows and treated like mother. but people who has never grown up with cows may not have the same emotion so they are free to do whatever they like. religions have boundaries and Hinduism is not religion.

Sivam is the oldest and first in Srilanka. Please see the history of the country’s and people where you visit. Sivam is not Hindu . Also Tamil people have been kicked off from most of eastern srilanka and business given to singhala people. Poor diversity in Srilanka against Tamil still getting worse in Srilanka. Because of the emergence law imposed and forced only in Tamil areas.more restrictions are apply for Tamil than Singhala people. Tamil are limited to fishing compared to the majority singhala people. You must have noticed that I believe.
