+Renovation Time Lapse What a nonsense remark my friend. The music you put on is really shite and you could have chosen so many GREAT royalty free music but you chose this crap and now you finely explain why there is a mute button ;) But this is actually not why I communicate with you as I indeed found the mute button very RAPIDO, i am just curious if I can see the end result somewhere? So much time and effort went into that place (almost to the point of insanity) and I watched 10 minutes of timelaps to come to a very anti climaxing conclusion of not seeing the end results :(
I respect you a lot for your hard works behind the camera....cuz I know it’s not an easy job....but still it would be better if we receive the complete video of the renovation.
Shannon Balogh The whole point of what videos? Classic response of the couch generation. This video showed the most complete behind the scenes footage of the perseverance it takes to do a project of this scale. Grab your cup of tea and go back to your "before and after" vids and then have a thought for this one. This is real grit.
@@DiscoFang shut the fuck up, boomer. There's no point in all that hard work if there's no end result. We walk to the before, during, and after. Literally, no one said they didn't care about the "real grit".
Awesome time lapse! Being a remodeling contractor on older homes here on the mid atlantic east coast, I recognized much of the same type construction...We rarely use the Clay tiles or steel studs in walls anymore but we used to...I love all the masonry work! Looks like very strict building codes too...Thanks for the upload!
Spectacular - as ART but not as a Construction 'before and after'! It wasn't long before I changed the replay speed to 2x (the music is more acceptable, too). That said, it's Renovation gangs like you who keep old stuff alive and well and useful - well done for helping to save us from square, glass boxes everywhere (and more land-fill). I spotted tile-cleaning in the rain - that's dedication! Add some pikks of it from BEFORE you began to AFTER Handover and it will make a brilliant show.
Would have liked a video walk through of the end result, you may have gotten more views, but still, good work, that was very impressive to watch! When I worked maintenance, I loved going into messy apartments and making them look new again, but for the life of me, I couldn't go into a clean apartment and make it "clean-er", my eyes aren't that good anymore. Most of what you guys did looked extremely fun, taking something ugly and old, and making it look new again. Nice work fellas!
I'm glad I was not the only one who was super annoyed by the fact that they didn't show the end results and compared with the old footage 😂😂 Also, the time lapse is too damn fast, I had to put at x75 to watch it properly without getting a headache
I like brick walls too. They lend a nice "country" feel to a room. This clearly had to be filmed in Europe. That house would be razed if it was in the US. Outside New Orleans, I've never seen any other place in the US with houses over 100 years old. My parents lived briefly in a 60-year-old house in Zurich, Switzerland and it was solid as a fortress. I wouldn't mind living in it permanently. Even that boring Swiss house has more character and charm than the cookie cutter houses in my current neighborhood.
Yeah in europe, we have houses over 100 Year old, and than those were built by bricks, but nowadays, we build our houses by plasterboards and breezeblocks
OLÁ. Muito SHOW o vídeo, amei demais vê a obra sendo realizada com muita sincronização,todos sabendo o que fazer e como fazer. UMA reforma muita bacana. Less expensive, faster, less aggravation to have torn it down and built new. No before and after? I hope your construction is better than your film making.
That was great. Thanks. Lots of people seem only interested in the end product and not the process. Would have been nice to see the finished work, but this demolition & construction process is what I was interested in, so thanks again!
1 the music is demonic 2 I watched all that just to find there's no end result 🙄 Where's the finished product or did you cowboy the last bits of the house
WOW, that's a lot of hard work. The thought of beginning a project like that is exhausting. It's fun that most of the work was captured in a time-lapse, but it would have been neat to see the end result in some photographs or videos. Either way, well done with that extensive renovation.
Are you OK? You posted this video on July 13, 2015, and you have not repair the audio. You have 319,524 views, and we didn't have the chance to see the final product. Your concept sales, but apparently you don't care. Do you know that you could make money with this kind of videos through TH-cam, and Patreon? I didn't Subscribe, but think about it. Can't you imaging yourself not having to work another day of your life, and pay to someone else to do the job for you? Either way, I gave you the Thumbs-up, thanks for sharing. Wish you the Best!
Hello! This video is really satifisting...i already watch it like 3 times....but i am so dissapointed there are no end result....:/ maybe in the future?
When I see all that rubble all I can think of is "that shit will be piled up somewhere else on this planet". You're just creating more waste on an already suffocated planet, just because you don't like the color of your floor tiles for example...
Aside from frustrating I don't understand why they uploaded the video if you can't see how IT looked like when finished. Does the team buy old houses and remodel to sell or they remodel by owners request? I'm surprised to see that they don't seem to have any restriction to make over in such old houses on the outside.
thanks for the foresight in time lapsing the renovation. As evidenced by the 3+million views, we humans like instant gratification, and 3 years into 10 mins is pretty close...but I will presume to speak for all 3+million by saying , I think a spoiler in this movie would've been warranted.
Personal they did a good job from what was shown. I really hoped for and missed the restoration of reusing some of the same technical things seen whilst taking the house apart (that kept the house up 200 years) and was hoping they'd leave the history and some of the original look mixed the new. It is personal taste and I love when old meets new whilst leaving character and places updated w/o updating the look. I hope to be able to see before and after if the transformation can be shown.
Magnífico video del paso a paso, aunque pensé que se recuperaría el ladrillo visto, que pena no haber dejado una pared de lo ladrillo visto, fuese quedado original. Me fuese gustado ver la casa terminada y amueblada.

Wow! That was a lot of work. It looks like those houses were not insulated very well back in those days. But you set it right. Very impressive. Now was that an added room on the third floor? I wished I could have seen more. The finished rooms, bathroom, kitchen. Was that a fix and flip house or your own residence? Great job.
i think person who made this music is actually insane. Pure schisophrenia here.

Whoa... Finished product pls. I watched all that!!
You have not reply so I am here to reply
This is the second timelapse video I've watched where there was no end result. Learning a lesson here.
Looks like it would have been easier to just tear down the whole thing and build from scratch.
MrNotSpecified You don't even know how much money and time you have to spend on the aprobation from the major
MrNotSpecified agreed!!!!!
My thoughts exactly! It would cost much less to bulldoze the place down, than to take it apart brick by brick! It must have been really expensive!
New buildings are taxed more whilst renovators are getting certain tax relief.
It's still cheaper to renovate.
3 years was a long time for a renovation, and whilst it would have been nice to seen the final results I still enjoyed watching :)
That music is horrible...
That's why the "mute"-button has been invented :-)
(I used a random royalty-free soundtrack :-) )

Renovation Time Lapse Bedankt!
Magnificent job and work!! Thank You all for taping and sharing. Congratulations, from the middle of California!
I just spent 10 Minutes of my life watching this to not find out what the finished product is? How Rude.
Maybe they worked 3 years on it when near to the finish, the owner ran out of the money, and they werent get paid. Maybe
Jason parkin haha who's the rude one?
Hmm

What a amazing renovation much dedication and skill needed these people 100%
That looked like an incredible amount of work, would it not of been easier to just demo the whole house and build new?
+Tyson probably local government bureaucratic rules about setbacks or some bullcrap. Just causes more expense for everyone.
Yeah its pretty easy to renovate a house in that way, Ive been working in a roof replace for 3 months, and itt seem more complicated than it is

They just IKEAed that sweet place! They lost me when they plastered over the beautiful exposed brick and old wood beams. So frustrating
man i love sitting here watching people work
I was hoping they would keep the the old bricks...
I would hope they wouldn't cover up all the new brick work!!
YES I screamed too! what a shame!
I was happy when they took the old bricks away they were ugly anyways
It's ugly af. I'm glad they did
yeah me too, but least they saved the roof tiles

It was cool to watch the process. Had to mute the music, but enjoyed the content. Would like to see a final walk-through
that music sounded like someone was playing with a drill..... beautiful job though.
King Onyx Deliberately. The phonetics match the construction sounds.
vaoooooo .... it was so greet .....thank you for your effort and skills
Did they really cover up all that brick?? :-(
Shelli Meyers well in Europe normally we use that bricks to make our walls, so no point for us leave it likr it is, strange but yeah
Miguel Eduardo isn't more expensive than a wood frame?
yes it is, but its more stable and it burns not so well
In Sweden we use wood in smaller homes. Bigger apartment buildings are concrete, but then again we still have trees over here.
I thought the same thing. I love interior brick walls.
Fantastic video except it ends before the big reveal
