A little pricey but sounds like it may be worth it
So I saw these and thought, "how are they going to make their money back- too big and expensive! Then I saw this video and see why someone... not me, but someone... would want it.
You did a better marketing job. I like the more active battle maps. 2x3ft folded (despite creases) with all the coatings so I can draw on them. The ones from Paizo and Kobold Press have been the most versitile.
The flexibility is an improvement. I'm still not a fan of grids. It's fine for baord games like Hero Quest and Gloomhaven. I prefer to build on the immersion of the terrain and mat without breaking that with a grid.
I think they would sell better if smaller and cheaper.
HOW MUCH?! Wargamer here - for that much you can have a 6x4 mat, you can have it cloth, vinyl, mousepad or even double sided - definitely not worth the money IMO
It looks like an awesome and flexible battle mat but for theprice it is out of my budget.
