- Special thanks and shout out to my guy Terry Camfield for taking the time to allow me to film his Corvette C8 Z06. It was my first time ever riding in a C8 Z06. Hearing this unique power train from GM called the LT6, a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 pushes 670 hp at 8,600 rpm. This car, like the previous generations of Z06's, is a track focus machine. I'm really impressed with the performance of this current version of Z06 from Chevrolet and shout out to the Corvette team for making this happen. I also, at some point, got to see the race car version of this, which is the C8.R, and now currently the Z06 GT3.R. The engine came directly from the race car and similar to the Ferrari 458 based on sound from a flat plane crank V8.
