    Made a DIY tutorial on how to remove the front bumper of your M3 or M4 (F80/F82/F83). It includes getting the freaking automatic headlight washer nozzle and cap off. It's really easy once you see how, but it was a pain to figure out! Hope this helps!

    Thank you very much for providing such a detailed video, which has helped me a lot. I need to remove the headlights. The first step is to remove the front bumper. Because I also have the headlight cleaning function, I found many videos. They It just tells people that they need to remove the screws and headlights for cleaning here or there, as well as the side radar and camera, but it does not tell others how to remove the buckle in detail.

    Hi you disconnected the the camera sensor when removing the front bumper
    Did you have to calibrated the sensors when installing the bumper back in ??
    How did you go about doing that ??
    Thanks

    BMW likes to make their suppliers, or they themselves, have some type of competition to see how many different types of electrical/basic connections in one car.

    Do you have pedestrian protection on your car. Is it dangerous to remove the bumper with pedestrian protection? Because i want to retrofit pdc and i cannot find a video to remove the front bumper of a car with pedestrian protection.

    • @HelpMeDIY
      @HelpMeDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Frank Lecock this is the first I’ve ever heard of “pedestrian protection”. I assume it’s a sensor or cameras similar to the park assist? Those where just one connector to disconnect so I would assume that would be similar.

    • @franklecock2648
      @franklecock2648 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, pedestrian protection is a system that makes that the hood comes higher on the side of the front window if you hit a person. It is indeed a sort of sensors behind the bumper, i am a little affraid that it will be activated wen i remove the bumper.

    • @HelpMeDIY
      @HelpMeDIY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Frank Lecock interesting. So similar to an airbag. I would think just like an airbag that if you disconnect the battery you would be fine.

    You don’t remove the headlight washers at all brother. You leave them connected and just undo the feed hose under the passenger headlight

    • @Carrboned
      @Carrboned 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You made sooooo much more work. You literally just pull connector on the hose back and the hose pops off. Washers stay on. Bumper just slides off.

  • @Philip7119
    @Philip7119 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    No need to remove headlight washers, just main feed line needs to be disconnected on passenger side only
