Hey, Thanks for the compliment. Hopefully it was kind of entertaining and helpful. I feel better and better with the buy everyday. I knew there would be trial and error expense on my end. I truly love the machine. I think for the most of us once we nail down the track tensioning for the machine, I think its just standard maintenance and we are gtg. I hope to have a few more helpful videos soon.
@@TheJBros520 Well i've only got 12 hours on my machine, but I'm definitely taking the tracks off to not only learn how to do it properly. But to grind down those rollers if need be. Thanks again..
You and me both! I'm hoping we will get something together soon! Trying to figure how much info to put in 1 video, we don't want it to overload anyone.
Man I just found your videos, great content! I’m currently looking at picking up this same unit next week for $5500 USD which seems like a decent deal. I’ll need a 30” auger bit to drill for planting trees. Would you still recommend the machine and do you have any experience with any other attachments or an auger?
Biggest bit I've seen is 16". I have not used one myself but I've heard and seen the 12" bit do just fine. I've been trying to bid on augers and keep getting out bid or I just forget about the auctions. I don't know why it wouldn't handle a 30" Slow and steady. Cheapest I've seen is 4k after expenses. most I've seen is 10k. I paid 7.2k. I'm happy with the performance all around.
@brothersblazers9966 Nope bid price was $6,000.00 $600 tax $600 auction fee. Recent i saw cheapest was $3,300.00 roughly $300 tax $300 auction price. So I paid a lot for mine.... more value now. I'm sure it's cause they are flooding the market with them which is good for us.
How often do you have to tighten the track? I just bought the AGT LRT 23 (I actually bought two). The track tension on one was really loose right of way. And on the other machine, one got loose after a half an hour, and then again I noticed it was loose the next after 3-4 hours. Mine has a grease tension, but I notice grease around the zerk. I can’t tell if the grease zerk is leaking or if the track is just stretching out. It’s weird though that it is both machines only on one side.
@alectripp There was a stretch of like 60 plus hours i didn't touch the track. I have now had my track max tightened, so I don't really have any issues. If you get enough crap as I did in a recent video stuff can still happen.
@dino34mc I think i heard that is what the newer ones are like. I do not know the reasoning there.... also the tensioning bolt is longer. I wish I knew the pros and cons. Do you have much slippage with no spring? To me it adds flex for safety far as damage but idk.
i have the same machine, my tracks keep coming off tho, and i can barely get the screw and nut that far up. there are two allen bolts holding the front idler frame and two holding the back are yours at the bottom or top of the adjustment?
Ok, best I can think. Those Allen bolts are not adjustments they are just holders for the entire Track system. Make sure those are not loose, mine came all tight. With that being said, When tightening the skid with track jacked off the ground. Second when tightening the track be sure your Idler Wheels are clean of packed dirt. I didn't clean mine after last use. I probably have 3/8 inch or more of packed dirt on my idlers making the track more loose. Before or after use Grease machine and Clean the Idlers. Let me know if this helps.
I will upload a pic. I tightened both sides today but the bolt does not go in that far. I do have the 2 1/8” space and the tracks are tight but the bolt on both sides seem to be exposed 3-3.5”.
I am thinking that you may not be getting the bolt in the thread of the spring shaft. There is a point the bolt is loose and it needs to have pressure to start it to thread back on. One thing that came to me talking with my dad and we were thinking for future track stretching. Is putting washers acting as spacers in the spring idler shaft. Now i have not done this as i have not needed to. Any info is great as we are all breaking these new machines in together. I might do an Updated Overview of the machine shortly as I am nearing 15 hours.
We have one that the tracks are coming off regularly and it is surging like there is a fuel problem or air flow issue. We have changed the fuel filter and it helped for a bit but started back. Any thoughts
Could you upload a photo of the tracks I am curious to your issue there. Far as Fuel and air flow issues. It's to difficult to give any guidance without the machine. The boys use the skid daily so, any progress good or bad we will keep you updated.
I'm thinking that the heat creates a "vapor lock" in the hose ... when I loosen the hose to the filter and retighten, the engine seems to run fine again, but as a back-up I bought a low pressure electric fuel pump and a water separator filter ...
Followed to the best of my ability ... Can't get that 1/4" clearance even w/o the bolt ... Still can't get track on ... btw, same model and I'm using ratchet straps for extra pressure ...
Just watched most of your video's . Funny how you went from a newbie 3 weeks ago about changing tracks. To now. It's like riding a bike.

Great overview! Can’t wait to see the maintenance video.

Ty so much for this video
@jeffreybattles5705 You bet!!! I have newer videos as well!!! That simplify it more!! Glad we could help!!
@TheJBros520 have you bought tracks for that machine anywhere?
@jeffreybattles5705 TrackLoaderParts.com DuroForce Rubber 180x72x41 about $132/ each. I have 90 hrs on the new ones.

I appreciate the videos. When you say 7200 did that include bucket and transport fees?

I'm not really educated in the greasing tensioning.
Good morning. I removed the tensioner wheel on the other side and there is no spring inside. Any idea on where I might find one or is it made that way

a very very very thank you
@@robertwittmayer4347 Big thank you, so happy you were able to find some useful information!

If it would just quit raining here every other day we could get some more wear and tear on it. 🙄
Keep the info coming.
Got a video coming later today and maintenance videos coming next few days.

Does this machine have its on pump for auxiliary?
I believe it's all the same pump just a matter of what you have plugged in.
Followed to the best of my ability ... Can't get that 1/4" clearance even w/o the bolt ... Still can't get track on ... btw, same model and I'm using ratchet straps for extra pressure ...
Interesting, did you pull front idler out to see if any debris. Curious what clearance are you getting to on front?
I could start to do full detailed live videos. I have done the tracks about 6 times now. it's about 15 minutes a side.
