I always pull my tx1000 dingo straight on my dump trailer and back it right off. Please be careful not to get crushed in between the machine and trailer backing on.
With the ditch witch i always back onto the trailer. It feels so much more safer then tipping off the back onto the ground. At least u have a chance to jump back into the trailer. One time. I picked up a mt100 bobcat stand on. Well, i needed the bucket and pipe puller attachment. They loaded the bucket into trailer then they backed on the Mt100 with the pipepuller. Got to the job. Went to unload it. The whole thing tipped down and got wedged pretty much almost straight up and down. Was so scary. If i woulda backed off the trailer who knows what would have happened. So never load those things with attachments into dump trailers. Always have the bucket on! Lesson learned. Another time a coworker forgot to latch the trailer for me. Went to load a ditchwitch and the whole trailer lifting up and got stuck right on the tailgate handle of my truck. Broke it straight off. Always be safe people
You might consider getting some strips of expanded metal welded to those ramps so that the skid steer drives smoother when loading and unloading. That would also make it possible for you to haul your mowers in the dump trailer if you have a job that you need both on and don’t want to make extra trips with different trailers.
@@stetslawncare Use expanded metal. It’s flat plate that’s had diamond shaped holes stamped in it. It’s better than wire mesh. Edit:To see what it looks like, just google “expanded metal”. The way it’s stamped gives it a raised profile and will probably give you better traction than wire mesh.
@@stetslawncare Expanded metal will probably work better. You can google it and a picture pops right up if you want to see it. When they stamp the diamond shaped holes in the plate it adds a profile to it that should offer better traction for your wheeled equipment than wire mesh.

Another good investment would be is kneeboards sure would save knees might not think so at your ages but when you get up there and age you wish you would have bought a few sets of them I'm not talking about the ones that wrap around your knee these are like 18 inches long 12 inches wide, any concrete retailer sells them.
Stet Am 73, my honest opinion NOPE... I heard you wheelbarrow and shovel n rake. Too small of a yard. The time you corrected the tracks on the lawn would be the same time as wheelbarrow shovel n rake is the same, YES?
Dude!!! You show up to do a small garden flower bed make over as if you were tearing up a drive way 😂😂😂😂 power wheel barrow?? You might as well just hire a crew of school girls or wimpy 10 year old boys 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah I’ve had the power wheel barrow a few years. Makes rock installs great lol. I just got the skid and have been itching to take it out on a job so just took it on the first one i could
Then China skid steer escalators all that stuff they're OK they just haven't got much lift like if you had a small dump truck it wouldn't even lift the load of dirt or stones to put in the back but since you don't have a dump truck you have that little trailer it works out perfect. vaseline or grease the chrome rods in the winter so don't rust pit. I worked as a hydraulic mechanic for 35 years. If you have a cylinder rod start leaking just take it off and throw it away and order yourself a new one by the time you order a kit to rebuild it you have more money in it that you could buy a brand new cylinder for, some of the cylinders made in China don't even come apart to rebuild. I'm glad you bought the one with tracks and not wheels, wheels will tear ruts in the yards. They sell 4' by 8' Plastic sheets that you can put down in the yard VS it says plywood and sheets have little traction debits on them. Good luck and be safe.
That job would be amazing for before/after photos for some landscape advertising! Great job!!
Funny you say that. I just posted that as an ad today!

Definitely always have to be careful. Especially with these mini skid steers.
You’re having fun with that skid steer, love it stet.
I love it haha
A land plane attachment works wonders (many uses), and a 4way bucket helps tremendously. Nice job.
I got a guy trying to trade me for a 4 way bucket. Not sure if it’s worth it or not?
🎉Fletcher is in the house !
Great work both of you! Well Done
Yes! Thank you!
Nice machine Stet! Can you get or do you have any other attachments for it…forks, tiller, auger, etc.?
I have forks. It takes toro dingo attachments so anything a dingo can take this thing can! With a lot less power tho lol
@@stetslawncarenice! You will get so much use out of that thing!👍
I have to say the skid steer did a pretty good job. 👍🤩
StetSON! Great video, love the little skiddy. Thanks for the vid, take care.
Looks good and handy. Did you name the mini skid? Since its an EGN unit, I'd say Eugene. Nice job!👍👍
Eugene has a nice ring to it! Lol

Was thinking of welding some wire mesh on there, that might help

Cool machine
Looking like you been on the machine for years very smooth operation not jerking it
Thanks! It was pretty easy to get used to the controls
looks good man, I like little easy jobs like that
Same!
Been watching lots of these china mini skid videos and idk if its inexperienced operators or if the machine is really slow.
14hp gas engine and 2 stage pump motor. Machine very slow lol
@@stetslawncare ok the one im looking at has a 23hp gas engine maybe it will be a bit quicker.
How much are they?
Can get them from auction around 4-5k

I can see using the Skid Steer on larger yards, this yard just to small.
For sure
Great job!
Do you guys contact miss dig or call someone to see the underground wire or pipes? just wondering about to rent one next week
Not for flowerbeds. There shouldn’t be any shallow utilities underneath flowerbeds. Not around here at least

Do you really need a big machine for that? I would’ve just used the shovel in the truck.
You should strap down the skidsteer with chains or heavy duty straps
3 3000lb straps were holding it down

I strongly believe in the right tool for the right job, but I’m also old school, I hardly ever use a manual wheel barow let alone a power one.😂
Yeah I’ve had the power wheel barrow a few years. Makes rock installs great lol. I just got the skid and have been itching to take it out on a job so just took it on the first one i could
Been easier and more efficient with manual labor both of you and got it over with.
