I worked here when this episode aired, and Senior Leadership was SO proud of the "gifts" he gave at the end.
I thinks it's extremely sad and ridiculous that the CEOs find it so outrageous to actually interact with THIER staff and the hospital that THEY'RE running. This should be a common occurrence.
I have to say, the part with Lorrie really hit home for me. My grandfather was a veteran, he passed away last year. I know that he would have loved to have someone come and spend time with him like she does with the veterans at Sunnybrook. Unfortunately, I live out of province, so I couldn't be there for him in that way, and unfortunately, the only place his children could afford to put him up in was an older place. Not terrible, but he did have his complaints. I actually broke down in tears watching that part because she showed so much compassion for the people that remind me so much of my grandfather. She is a beautiful soul and the world needs more of her.

Since 2002 I have gotten a MRSA infection every single time I’ve been admitted to the hospital and had surgery. I always thought it was the surgery that had caused those infections. It never even entered my mind that it could have possibly come from the kitchen! Wow.
Billion dollar company and he gives some trips, tools, 5k, a garden that the guy has to do it himself... Really? Wowww!Most in the undercover boss USA gave their employers much more with less revenue!Very disappointed with the Undercover bosses in Canada!!!
I work at a hospital, the CEO makes millions and the conditions we’re treated in are not good!! I’ve never seen his face nor do I think he would care about the conditions. When I first started I saw a roach in the main hallway and told my boss, and he said “yeah they’re everywhere” and that was it. The state of healthcare is so bad right now.
Just the idea of privatly owned hospitals is a nightmare

It is so annoying to see that so many people in this series get their children's education funded as a favor. In germany, where I live, it is just natural to be free, as is health care and various things. You even get paid by state if you do not find a job.
wow this boss is really a cheapskate... compared to what I see on other episodes of undercover boss, what this man gave the staff is peanuts
this should have worked as caregiver so he can experienced and understand the work as a caregiver too
at minute#10, when preparing food, better not talk to minimize fallout of saliva into the food , or maybe better wear a mouth cover if really want to talk
