My WiFi doesn’t work on my printer so I just use a usb cable from my printer to my computer. It works really good. This program looks really easy to use. The item I want to create, Bambu labs doesn’t have the right tools I need to make my item. This program does. Thanks for sharing this. 👍👍
Yo dude thank you so much. My aunt wants me to design heart keychains for her store and I pretty much just know how to add text to a model. This is exactly what I needed!
@@ashleys3dprintshop I wish there were a way when you import an SVG that you could color it before you export it to bambu slicer. its so hard to paint in bambu slicer when you flatten it.
Streamlining the whole process is a great thing. Bambu is making the whole print process more efficient for all skill levels. Good luck on the vendor show
Looks great - and easy! Thanks for sharing. Did you use a 0.4 nozzle or 0.2? What would you recommend? the emoji one was quite intricate but came out really well.
I’ve gotten good results with a 0.4 nozzle by changing the line width in the slicer. I can get down to ~0.27 mm, any lower and an error dialog pops up when slicing.
Pretty much stock with a .4 nozzle. I did notice the 3mf files turn on arachne wall generation and ironing top surface. Good call on the line width. 😀I havent gotten around to that yet,
What a good video. Thank you for going through everything and how to sign into MakerWorld. I don't recall you saying what filament you are using for the signs? Please! Thank you for a really good video packed with good information.
I have one more question, in makerworld which setting would control the SVG itself to give the color a bolder look. I noticed that the svg that gets flattened is a little washed out in color and im imagining that the cause is that there is not enough layer height for the color to be bold.hope i explained it correctly lol.
Sure we can do a deeper dive into svg. I typically did the fast (automated) svg with vectorizer. there is a manual way to make your own svg too. I figure if I cannot make the steps fairly simple I abandon the project until I can "git gud" or find free alternatives.
Hello, I would mark it as "NEW" and place the maker world attribution in your description. *Remix* is using an existing model and modifying it. *New* is your own creation(using maker world tools) but it would be original. For a custom shape it would be possible to use negative parts in the slicer, right? For example let’s say I had fish.svg. I’m thinking I could use that to “cut” the sign into the shape of a fish, just haven’t wrapped my head around the parts math to do so yet. Maybe it would be better to make a smaller sign and add it to a larger fish? I welcome any suggestions 😁
Hmm in theory both may work but I am leaning towards adding it to the SVG.(fewer steps and negatives can be trick) For instance go to makerworld use the 🚫 plate Go to SVG and add your SVG fish Add text then export the end results. I had a slight issue with some SVG files on the site so the alternative is Go to makerworld use the 🚫 plate add the text/images and export as an STL Put it into studio right click on it and separate into objects. DO not move anything just yet. highlight the text/emoji/symbols that are normally grouped together and assemble them Then assemble onto the fish and adjust it.
@@ashleys3dprintshopI think your alternate method is the best bet. In Makerworld both text and the SVG sit on the non-plate, in other words the text went all the way through the SVG. I think this may be a job for Tinkercad! 😁
Yes you can manually change colors at a layers. so the "face up" text images should be easier to do. th-cam.com/video/xxNzknUepws/w-d-xo.html The steps are slightly different with the A1 mini with the actual filament change but the general idea is the same. You can also just pause the print manually, and use the "unload/load" filament option too.
At work our name signs are plain text on printer paper…I’m definitely upgrading my name sign game now! Name sign game?? How did this become my life? 😢😂

Thank you. I like the fact this tool/website can be printer agnostic and you can export just the stl file and use them in different slicers.
Yo dude thank you so much. My aunt wants me to design heart keychains for her store and I pretty much just know how to add text to a model. This is exactly what I needed!
Thank you for watching and encouraging words. The timing certainly works out. 😉
The emojis turned out much better than I expected!
Kinda nice as I just plopped them down and hit print, the detail and accuracy is amazing.
Great video, perfect length for the subject.
Thank you very much. Maybe bite size for intro to a topic and longer for the indepth stuff/questions
You are a god sent, I was trying to look for so many videos on how to put all the colors on one layer and this whole time it was build into MakerWorld
😁, happy to help and and glad folks are finding value in my videos.
There are actually a few ways to do this but makerworld makes is so much easier.

Thank you! I didn’t know this was added and I need to print several signs for an upcoming vendor show. This will come in very handy!

Thank you! This is amazing! Who knew?? :D
It was a pleasant surprise that is for sure. Thank you for the support.
Thank you. Please do another one covering it in more depth.
Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
This may be helpful as I use more items from make my sign.

Hello. Thank you very much. 😁
The filament is both by sunlu pla, black and white.
Can it be set up to print on both sides of the sign?
Give it a try and report back please. 😁

I would like to see more on how to do the svg, when you have time.

so if i use a template and want to post it. is it a remix or new. i cant seem to grab the link to credit the template. thanks

I don't have that mode to make flush. Thickness tab only base plate, text,SVG,shapes
You can make an item flush in the slicer. Using the modifier tool.
Cool sign in how did you make it from Immanuel

Thank you. 😁
Wish they'd come up with a easy lightbox program, Fusion is a little much for me.
That would be awesome if the released the tools to do that. I make simple light boxes from SVG files in slicer but there are limits to what it can do.
If I have just the A1 Mini, can I manually do two colors?
Yes you can manually change colors at a layers. so the "face up" text images should be easier to do.
