Got my A1 three days ago. Been working it non-stop. The last FDM I had was an old PrintrBot simple metal, and this thing is like going from prop bi-planes straight into the jet age (Though resin printing still holds my heart).
Mine arrived a few days ago, its a Christmas gift for my 12yo (ok and for me 😂), so not gonna be able to get hands on until then. Loved this video so liked and subscribed. Looking forward to more of your content between now and Christmas.
Great video! Love the gadgets you've designed to stop 'bamboo poop' from flying everywhere. I’m definitely adding them to my A1 upgrade. Inspired by you, I’ll be designing some cool stuff for my flsun T1pro too. Thanks a lot, keep up the awesome work!
@3DPrintedProject this is my first. I did lots of research and the a1 seems to be the best for beginners since it has auto calibration and comes almost completely assembled. And I got the combo so I can. Multicolor print
@popachockymilk 4 screws at the bottom of the printer and zip ties seem to give a lot of trouble at the very beginning of the assembly for people. Make sure those are taken out. Follow the assembly manual it's really clear to understand and you will be good. :)
@@3DPrintedProject I bought my A1 C like a month ago and just opened today I have been reading so much that I am tired I want to learn everything but is just not easy , the bambu wiki has a lot of great info , I am learning fusion 360 too because I need to create a part for a machine at my shop so you can see I am a little stressed out.
@3DPrintedProject I haven't tested anything yet I bought PLA just to make sure I know how the machine works , for now I'll step up to petg and then I guess I have to buy a high end printer to use exotic filaments.
@@OchsSlayer we're talking about a mod, a print, not a printer. So no, it's not true for all prints. I never printed anything functional that eventually failed.
@@OchsSlayer I don't have a top mount. There's plenty of people saying it failed. I don't think any of them ruined the printer but it still shows that mount fails, and since this is a 600 euro combo, it's quite a bit of a risk to use something that has been shown to fail and that can cost you even more money.
When I got my kickstarter x1c, all plates where trash, nothing sticks. Got decent stick out of some pei plates from aliexpress. Wish they would do the satin pei that prusa sells. When I got an A1 recently the pei plates where different somehow, I mean, they work.

Finally a quick, no bs video on this topic. Thanks!
Just for you, I will design it with a handle! Thanks for the recommendations!!!
I was watching for 5 min before I realised how small of a creator you were! Love the vid, you earned a new sub
Appreciate it!!

Where do you do your resin prints? I really wanted to at first when getting into 3D printing, but the toxic fumes and what not was what put me off.
The A1 is such a great printer. I have one too, thanks for covering these mods.
omg i just got my A1 too on the sale. i love it. opened it an hour ago and printed already many cool thinks. i love it
It's a fun hobby! Can be a job too if you find the right print:)
Great upgrades thanks
nice. I'll print some of them. Thanks

I just got one and it comes tommarow. From what ive heard it will be alot of fun
Is this your first 3D printer? If not what are you upgrading from?

@3DPrintedProject thanks. It's nice to see a creator that responds to his viewers 👍
What's better? A1 or p1s?
so basically you started printing 6 months ago and now you are a pro doing it ! this is inspiring
I'll consider myself a pro when I know every single detail. :) far from it. Thank you for the kind comment.

The Cable Guide file is a STEP file. Could you save the STL for the cable guide as well? Thank you.
6:02 it's really not a big deal but that fan cover is upside down. It's supposed to be like the Bambu Logo.
Ehere do we get that 'm323' screw for the top mount ams
Hey there, usually it's provided with your printer. If you bought the A1 they are usually provided.
There are 4 screws that hold the bed in place for shipping. Those marked in red. I think those are the screws you're talking about.
Top mount which plastic did you use to print?
Not recommending it, but I used PLA.
I'd at least go with PETG to make it stronger.
cool
lol I love everyone who is mad about the top-mount. It works. Get over it.
Sure, it works. Until it doesn't. Which happens, just need to look in forums.
@M4XC4V413R4 "it works until it doesn't" is true of any 3d printer.
@@OchsSlayer we're talking about a mod, a print, not a printer. So no, it's not true for all prints. I never printed anything functional that eventually failed.
@M4XC4V413R4 so your top mount works fine then.

NEEDS!! a super tack print plate. Stock PEI plate is useless.
I think BIQU is sending me something like that. One of those glacier plates?
New plates from Bambu came out yesterday!
@mwinner101 will need to check it out. Thank you :)

Next video....why I printed a top mount ams lite mod that holds spools even. Lmao
Great content. Earned a sub from me.
Thank you!:)
sure, let's put some mass on top of the printer, what could go wrong...
I know it feels sketchy. Seems to work so far. I researched to see if people had an issue with this "mod" , but no negative feedback yet.
@@3DPrintedProject i have seen posts about spools falling on the bed and destroying stuff
4 months of using the AMS top mount and it works perfectly :)
