    Sitting here in my carport. Just found some butter wet wax in my detailing stuff and applied it by machine while I listened to a baseball game. Man it looks good. Doesn't seem to dust either like the latest and greatest. Give it a try! I hate the dust that accumulates from the spray stuff.

    Do you have to use the first three steps before the wax?

    • @Tony.Technics.1200s
      @Tony.Technics.1200s 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends if your clear coat has minor defects, otherwise just wax to keep your clear coat protected. Your clearcoat is only so thick, so don't mess with it if you don't have to. If you can feel some grit on your clean pain, clay it first, the synthetic clay bar works great.
      You should always do a test spot anyways, do a test section with just the wax to see what you'll end with, and go from there if you need to go more aggressive, but It's always better to start less aggressive to preserve the life of your clearcoat.
      Take your time and have fun.

    • @ChemicalGuys

      Hi Ron! That's correct, apply glaze, sealant, and/or wax in that order. After the glaze has bonded there is no need to clean the panel before applying sealant.

      Your going to want to wash your vehicle then clay bar it. After you clay use chemical guys water spot remover, having water sprayed on ur car an being constantly baked in the sun is really going to cause clear coat damage. You want to protect your paint you want to use a sealant I like jet seal applied with a random orbital because it's a polish an sealant so it removes light imperfections. Then top coat the jet seal with a spray wax and spray wax it after you wash the car and dry it every time. It'll help the jet seal last.
