Thank you for the Best video I have seen 😀! I am learning so much watching your demonstrations! Could you please have another video on using the Clay bar process. Thank you.
As long as the wax you're using is coating specific. If you're using regular wax, then no. The coating is repelling that wax and it's getting wasted, imo.
Great video, thank you for it. If I wash my black car using the BlackLight wash and the BlackLight glaze (I think that’s what it is) do I really need to put anything else on it?
Great combination! Black Light Glaze is great for adding depth and gloss however it provides little protection which is why we follow up with sealant and/or wax.

When applying a CERAMIC… You WILL 1-3 step polish the paint to correct any flaws in the paint first! THEN apply the Ceramic! You can add shine and a little more protection with a wax! But, No resins or glazes are applied before or after a CERAMIC! Remember… Resins, & Glazes are FILLERS! They don’t fix anything, they cover up!
Wash [with Chemical Guys Citrus Strip Wash to clean the zurface and strip away any old oils or protectants.] Clay bar. Compound. Polish. Wax. Seal. Amirite?
Actually yes, you can use it but take a look what pound you have to use to apply, I remember there is a video in the product page where show how to apply it using RO Machine and I remeber you must use White, Black and Red pound to apply the product
I clay barred, used C4 and P4 then followed up with HydroBlitz a couple of weeks ago. Can I just wash and apply the Butter Wet Wax? And can it be applied with a wax pad on my buffer?
Fantastic! Love a good flow chart! If my car has professional ceramic no need to clay bar correct? Would I still benefit from a glaze or wax for protection?
Hello if I am layering all these products on top of another, am I not essentially getting the functions and propoerties of only the topmost layer i.e the wax? I mean if I am coating the ceramic infused hydroslick with a glaze, then a sealant and then wax, am I getting any of the propoerties of the ceramic? Please clarify
In for this answer as well..... This has always confused me too. I have seen Hydroslick videos saying that you can add a layer of protection after hydroslick but in my mind I see Hydroslick as being what should be the top layer....
@chemicalguys been searching your website for those exact microfiber applicators. They look tall and brick like. Are they on your site ? If so what's the name of?

Hey! Yes, we recommend masking them off to avoid damaging raw trims on cars. Thanks for watching and thanks for being part of the Chemical Guys family!
I'm new to this, I just purchased products from CG. May I ask if I can apply some products in the following order: Wet Mirror -> Extreme Top Coat -> Butter Wet Wax?
If a car is ceramic coated, you cannot clay bar the car, also why don't you have a mite to clay the car? SO how do you remove the ceramic, I do not tbhink is possible, or is it. I do have your clay bar and about 50 of your products.
Hey! First, yes you may clay a ceramic coated car. A clay bar does not remove ceramic properties. Also, we use a clay bar for this demonstration, it is all preference to the user. Thanks for being part of the Chemical Guys family!

Can you was you car as normal when it gets dirty after applying all these coats and sealants, great videos by the way been a fan for long time
Thank you for the Best video I have seen 😀! I am learning so much watching your demonstrations! Could you please have another video on using the Clay bar process. Thank you.
Happy detailing!!
How long of a protection will you get with that job you done. 😊
Hey! These steps will provide 12 months of protection!
Can you make or share the in-depth video on why to decontaminate the paint video, please!!
Hey! Check out this video.

I went straight from clay to bitter wax, can I redo the other steps and rewax without claying another time?
Would love to see video why clay baring your car is important
Great suggestion!!
Can I reapply a glaze over the butter wet wax?
Yes, but it'll not last for long. A layer of sealant or wax over the glaze will extend its longevity.
How often should I use wax?
Hey! Wax can be reapplied as often as desired, it is recommended to add a fresh coat every four to six months.
Hi, how often do you compound and polish your paint
Love the content.
After using a DA, etc. What is the best wax to use?
I like butter wax for sure, can that be applied with a DA or no.. etc?
Absolutely! Apply Butter Wet Wax with a DA using a Black Hex-Logic Pad on the lowest speed setting.
@@ChemicalGuys thank you for the solid information..
Love the video! Is it a good idea to wax a car if you have a ceramic coating?
As long as the wax you're using is coating specific. If you're using regular wax, then no. The coating is repelling that wax and it's getting wasted, imo.
Absolutely! Enhance shine while providing protection by layering ceramic with your favorite glaze, sealant and/or wax.
@@ChemicalGuys For Hydroslick, can I apply JetSeal then Butterwet wax ON TOP of the HyrdoSlick?? or is the sequence different?
When would you use polishing and why
Hey! Use compound and/or polish to remove swirl marks and scratches before applying your favorite coatings.
We know it’s 15 minutes to let sit then buff it off but……. How much time in between each product from glaze sealant and wax?
Hey! Glaze, sealant and wax coats can be applied almost immediately after one another. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes.
@ChemicalGuys question about ur microfiber applicator and microfiber wash do u use it once? or do you wash it so you can use it again?
Awesome i learn alot from that video thanks.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Hey so do we no longer need to wait 12 hours between using jet seal and a wax? Thanks for your videos

Can I apply jet sealant on top of my car if I just got it paint corrected and ceramic coated?

I've read that if you use a glaze then you cannot use a sealer or ceramic after due to those protectants needing to bond to the clear coat
Hey! We recommend applying a ceramic first, then follow these steps. Thanks for watching!

Hey! Following the Chemical Guys Detailing Flowchart, we recommend to apply sealant before wax.
Seal and wax
Hey, and what about hydroslick? When sould i apply it?
Hey! Apply HydroSlick to a bare surface and then it can be layered with your favorite glaze, sealant and/or wax.
So the only time you use a RO machine is applying a compound or polish?
Can you use a buffer pad on the RO machine to buff off glazes or ceramics?
Actually yes, you can use it but take a look what pound you have to use to apply, I remember there is a video in the product page where show how to apply it using RO Machine and I remeber you must use White, Black and Red pound to apply the product
When do you apply the glaze if your doing hydrocharge, then hydroslick?
Hey! Apply glaze after HydroCharge and HydroSlick.

If I have a ceramic paste wax, do I put it on first or last?
Hello! Yes, apply ceramic to a bare surface and then it can be layered with glaze, sealant and/or wax.
Fantastic! Love a good flow chart! If my car has professional ceramic no need to clay bar correct? Would I still benefit from a glaze or wax for protection?
Hey! If your car feels soft, you may skip the clay bar process. Yes, applying a glaze, sealant, and wax will enhance more shine and protection!
I used that butter wax in the outside elements today. And fk the haze was difficult to take off
Can you use a DA polisher to apply these products?
Absolutely!
can we clay then jet seal and skip the glaze
Absolutely!!

Chemicals guys are the best
Glad to have you as part of the Chemical Guys family!!
It looks awesome
🤩🤩
You don't recommend a buffer?
Hello! Glaze, sealant and wax can be applied by hand or machine.
Blacklight is a glaze and sealant, thus no need for separate sealant correct?
Hey! Black Light is a hybrid, but for more shine and protection we recommend using Jetseal.
@@ChemicalGuys ok good to know! Thank you 👍
where does Hydroslick fit into this?
Hey! Apply HydroSlick to a bare surface and then it can be layered with glaze, sealant and wax.

Black Light would also be a great choice!!
