    This is a review of the EcoFlow DELTA 2 power station. This is the successor to the original DELTA from EcoFlow with quite a few changes that, in my opinion, make it worth getting over DELTA 1.

    If you buy just a standard computer cable it's liable to get hot and start a fire, you wanna keep an eye on the gauge of the wire that you use with that because it draws a lot of watts.

    My original Delta 1300 bought 12-2020 failed at 1.5 years in due to cooling fan failure = overheat between use & charging. The warranty replacement was a bit involved, but straightforward . . . . and I am pleased with the replacement unit appearing to be new / not 'refurbished. They did return my original solar charging cable which is long allowing decent separation of panels from unit.
    Am pleased with EcoFlow. thanks, RH

    Wonderful review. I'm really excited about this DELTA 2 release and your review certainly explained and demonstrated a lot of the features. I believe the gold-colored button is to allow a user to quickly discriminate between version #1 and version #2 of the DELTA power station but so does the expansion battery connection port on the side of the DELTA 2. The APP that supports this station is key to the ease of use and monitoring of this station. In the APP there is a feature referred to as "Smart Generator Auto ON/OFF". I believe that allows a user to connect EcoFlows gasoline powered generator to this DELTA and when the DELTA is running low on stored electrical energy the EcoFlow gas generator will automatically start and charge the DELTA then turn itself off. A great feature if you can afford it. The new battery chemistry is, LiFePO4, is great because of the longer battery life cycles. And this DELTA 2 allows me to expand by purchasing an expansion battery once my budget allows. You sure have a lot of cell phones and watching the Deer pass by was nice.

      Thank you for viewing the review!
      The app feature is definitely a big plus when owning a power station as long as it works stably, and I had a pretty smooth experience, thankfully. Also, I didn't know about the Smart Generator feature! That sounds incredibly innovative.
      The LiFePO4 batteries are a much-needed upgrade for power stations, making it worth even more to get a power station knowing that your money is paying for something that will last even longer.
      Yeah, I've got quite a few phones, but they're just a few old / used ones that I only use for testing. I'm probably the last person ever to buy a new phone. 😄
      The deers were absolutely the highlight of this video.

Floating ground is not your best friend in some situations. Would love to see a ground terminal lug on this unit. Just saying....

    I wish they just upgrade the delta max with two plug for extra 2 batteries or you could use 1 extra battery then another plug for the smart generator but delta 2 only had 1 plug so you need to switch between extra battery and smart generator all the aspect of thr delta 2 should move it to the delta max

    If you have to choose between fj power and delta 2 which one will you get? Thanks

    • @chargerharbor
      @chargerharbor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gotta be honest, I'd go with the DELTA 2. I love testing out each power station on a case-by-case basis, but when comparing the DELTA 2 to FJDynamic's MP2000, the DELTA 2 is better, in my opinion.
      DELTA 2 has:
      -More info on its display
      -App integration
      -Lower price, and if you buy a DELTA 2 Extra Battery, you reach about the same price and capacity as the MP2000
      -LFP batteries that last much longer than the MP2000's Lithium-Ion batteries
      -Smaller and lightweight
      The MP2000 may have a 2000W output, but the DELTA 2 gets close enough with its 1800W regular output, which can be pushed to 2,200W with the X-Boost feature via the EcoFlow app. The 1,024Wh capacity on the DELTA 2 is a bit of a disappointment, but it keeps the price low for the unit, and you always have the option to expand with an extra battery.

    • @gothooked
      @gothooked ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chargerharbor thanks! I got an offer from fj power same price as the delta 2 since they are expanding in Sweden. But I agree, delta 2 looks better plus it's LFP

  • @derpraktiker

    When connected to an empty or incompletely charged extra battery the power station will shift its own capacity into the battery. In the end you have two half-full or equally charged devices but none at 100%. In order to use the complete original load you now have to carry two heavy units with you instead of only one. In other words: while connected you cannot get a completely charged main unit unless the extra battery is fully charged too. I do not see any benefit from that. What do you thinks is the deeper meaning behind this?

    I recently purchased this unit for the purpose of operating my refrigerator if power went out... IT DOES NOT WORK!!!
    They told me that it would power it and IT DOES NOT!!!
    I attempted to contact Ecoflow and was cut off after waiting for a period of time on hold...... I then called again and spoke with a female and explained the situation. She said that having purchased it only a couple weeks ago, I was able to return it but would have to pay shipping and a "transaction fee"....... I told her to please send me the return information and the labels, to which she agreed..... I then received the email she said I would receive with NO return labels that SHE SAID WOULD BE ATTACHED....
    I am waiting for another email with the labels currently but am not hopeful that I will receive them without another call....
    GOOD LUCK IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES....................

      @@chargerharbor - with some units the battery will not provide full potential until cycled from full to empty & back a couple of times. I got a Bluetti AC200P that initially was erratic in power display vs actual output. An e-mail later with the battery 'learning-curve' explained and applied solved the problem! Full capacity & proper display have been experienced since full-cycling the unit twice. Larry C may not have fully cycled the unit?

  • @WikingBoer
    @WikingBoer ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So the efficiency seems pretty poor for a 1000wh unit - from looking at the display on your unit it shows 60watt output will last 10 hours? So effectively 600wh? That's not very good...

    I ordered x2 Ecoflow Delta 2 that cost around @2,600 dollars. . I had called customer service to cancelt them right away and I was assured that they won't be charging me for shipping because I won't get the products anyway.
    After 2 weeks. They charged me shipping cost on the first order plus penalty of more than 4%. They stated that penalty is 2.6%. I felt these penalties are too much for items I have not even touched. They refused to refund me on the second order citing system error on their part.
    Ecoflow are thieves who robbed their customers. Please don't purchase any Ecoflow products. Very bad customer service. They are plunderers who must be jailed and not allowed to do business in America.
