The All Powers R1500... arguably a scam, as lots of the information on their website does not line up with how the unit actually functions or the features that it has... BUT, you guys are always asking us for the cheaper units, so we decided to make it our mission to review as many as possible till we find 1 that ACTUALLY is worth your money.

You should suggest that people use Pecron’s products. I own the E600LFP and love it! The PECRON E1500LFP is comparable to this unit but, the Pecron meets all its specs, is upgradable, has a 5 year warranty, and is fairly inexpensive at only $759. It’s worth “at least” acknowledging as an option.
I bought a R1500 a few months ago. Took it out of the box plugged in the AC charging cable, was charging @ 384w. I then turned on the AC inverter button (with nothing plugged into the R1500) and it tripped the breaker in my house. I then plugged into another outlet on a different breaker and it also tripped that breaker. There was no AC load - just turning the AC button on. It went right back in the box.
I have the AllPowers R1500. Its works fine for me. I've used it for about a month now. Sure it's not as efficient as a Bluetti power station but for the price I think it's not a bad deal. Also, all you have to do is read the manual and you'll see that if you press the DC Output button for 3 seconds it will turn on Bluetooth. The app works fine. It's obviously going to be a lot less efficient if you're pushing it near it's max since the fans will be working overtime. These power stations should be used at around 50% max if you want them to perform decently and last. Just my opinion. But to say it's junk... that has not been my experience. But I haven't used their customer service for anything, and I've only used it a month. So I can't speak for it's longevity. I'm also getting 112v out of each outlet (not 108 like you).
I am very impressed with your review! It was enjoyable to watch and straight forward facts with a lot of research. I hope All Powers is watching!!!
Love my first PS a Blueitti AC180 for ins against outages. I use it around the house since outages don't happen much. Even gave up my gym membership as this is 36#.
Thanks for pointing out the poop so we don’t step in it.
A very informative video & I like the honest approach of stating the good and bad. I just subscribed so I can avoid mistakes as I pursue solar for home backup.
Wow nice honest review. Thanks
To turn on Bluetooth press the dc power button for a few seconds. My Bluetooth will work, but no luck on WiFi .
I was looking at AllPower products and was tempted with the low price. But was not confident of quality and longevity- thanks for video it helps me make a decision!
I have no regrets, unit plus 400 watt panel for $899
I bought the Apowking 500w portable power bank for $170..it has 2 ac outlets, it's basic but it works for me
Yes do the Pecron! I have the E600 and it’s awesome. Want to buy up a few levels. Love to hear what you think!
I OWN the 240V AU Paid $1000, mine 1500w capacity and I was sent the PRO with the RV Power plug too. It works well asside from noisy fans. Mines never overheated and mines not the LPF battery version. My uint isnt expandable so you seem to have reviewed a newer edition. When I emailed them, I got a prompt reply so that was good, and getting the PRO version was a nice thing too. LFP isnt a deal breaker, by the time ive charged and disscharged enough, better tech will have replaced LPF! ALLPOWER need to have updateable firmware and updates to imropove and fix problems like fan profiles or the mobile app, then they would indeed be a garanteed got cheapo bestbye for sure. Im hoping they evolve quickly as they can own this segment! Otherwise pay the diff and wait for an ECOFLOW IMO. All the others, all suffer from the same problems and only ECO have the track record of after sales and firmware support!
Just bought a VDL HS 1200. 960wh, charges in an hour and a half. One hour if you plug in the 500w of solar. Six hundred bucks Canadian.
Buy cheap you get cheap, never go with the cheapest brand, unless it is thoroughly reviewed over years. They usually do not stand up, but mid range is great.
For better portability and dead silence even under continuous full load check out the fanless 1kWh/1000W units sold by Zendure (Superbase M) or Goneo (Silent 1000).
Excellent show! Great explanation have you looked at the vtoman range? They're pumping out some budget priced units that pack a punch? I think it's worth putting it on your show.
All powers is kinda hit and miss. They would be way better to adjust their spec. I have one of their panels I like, I have one of their inverters I hate . For a power box I got lucky, Aferiy. Weird name. Half the size you reviewed, I carry it so it is a good weight for me. 800w, 500wh. It has a funky DC out port they can't support, it turns on weird, inverter seems inefficient, but it charges in 90 minutes at 400w. Lipo. After 3 months, it works good.
Compare to Bluetti AC180 at $700 (also 1152Wh and 1800W inverter). Impressive for 500.
The thing is.. i've checked out alot of TH-cam affiliate links for the Anker c1000 and other systems. But they only ate eligible for US citizens or outside Europe.
In Europe we're stuck with EcoFlow, Jackery and these competitive brands.
And the prices are almost DOUBLE of what they go for in US.
So yes, it's not that good.. but it's affordable.
That allpowers goes for 800 eu in Germany.. and solar panels are additional 250..
I love how he says I don’t know where the 1500 comes from but you can charge on ac at 1500 watts. Ummmm you answered your own question in the same sentence hahahha
Either you don't know what your doing or you got a bad one. mine is fantastic. And to use the app or wifi you press and hold the dc power button to turn on Bluetooth. And it's run all my stuff with no issues. So I would say have another look before you comment as clearly your talking rubbish
Concur
Please review some Oupes. Including the Mega 2, Mega 5, and either the 1800 or the 2400.
If your in the market for similar specs, do yourself a favor and get the Bluetti AC180. Its more expensive but wont burn your house down.
Would love to see you review a vtoman flash speed 1500 👍
New to PowerStations. Do you ever evaluate Backup UPS units?
The Anker C1000 is $600. Just spend the extra $100 and get a quality unit that won't fail you.
Father's day special is $499
I saw a review and the Anker did not have the claimed amp hours.
Just on one review 😮
@@stedyone1090 If it’s only on one review, I wouldn’t be concerned with it. It’s a trustworthy name brand that’s been around for quite a while, unlike many of these fly by night component flippers. If I had to choose between any of the more recent contenders and an established brand, I’d take the established brand every time.
@@stedyone1090none of them do
Pecron products I think would do very well. The e1500lfp would be the best comparison to these units. Very good bang for your buck.
He won't do it I said it several times. That pecron comes with a 5 yr warranty as well. It's a fantastic deal.
Pecron
@@johnmal5975 that’s strange. I wonder why.
@@robertrichardson5285 fixed the autocorrect. Pecron
Agree. Out of all the Chinese newcomers, Pecron is the one that actually producing nice quality units and stands behind them. Allpowers is shady as hell and the fact that they misrepresent capabilities on the website is all one needs to know before trying them out.
There’s that Patriot Supply power station advertised all over Facebook. People ask me about it and I tell them no TH-cam promoter has done a review on it.
Consider reviewing the 2000w inverter + 280ah battery for $960 from Licitti.
I see you have the Bluetti EB240 at the top-right of your shelf. Did you ever review it? I have one and I'd love to watch you break one down.
I would also like to see a review of the Pecron E1500LFP. Looks like it has an expansion battery available.
Sounds like the internal inverter is the biggest issue with this one, lack of BT commo notwithstanding. Thanks.
You know you messed up when a Jackery is introduced as a high end alternative
The wireless charging on my Bluetti EB70 is just one of its many design disasters because it drains the battery overnight when using only a 3w DC load. So don`t expect the normal "all weekend" DC fridge test to be anything but a huge letdown. Running a 5w USB fan on low shouldn`t use up over 50ah in one night. Because of the wireless charging my pocket sized USB power brick has more capacity to power a fan than a power station costing 480 dollars more. What a feature!
Bluetti is junk
Thanks, I think ill just stick with my Eco-flow generators.
Yes, please review VTOMAN Flash 500. Relatively cheaper than EcoFlow and the only one I was able to afford. I used full charged VTOMAN Flash 500, charged my Kia EV6 with it and was able to extract 1.25kWh before it displayed 0% capacity. So around 80.7% efficiency, but probably more if used on something else than charging EV. The extra battery is kinda fishy though. I haven't seen it completely drained or recharge from zero. Even when completely drained, recharging it will display 50% starting point. Also, the extra battery will fail to recharge if the AC output is ON and there's active consumption, you need to kill the AC output first, wait for the extra battery to start recharging before turning ON the AC output again.
Thanks for the test. Was this one a lemon or typical quality? Fail.
First truth it works with bluetooth press the usb charge button and hold till wi-fi signal appears simple
I need to find which power stations, have the ability to turn on the AC outlets automatically,
when only powered by solar panels, no grid access, no internet access.
Such that if uses all of battery over night, and shuts down, once there is sufficient battery charge from solar the next sunny day, it will kick on the AC outlets, automatically on its own, without requiring any human interaction.
Please provide links to power stations with this capability.
thx
Have you checked out the Bluetti?
SECOND THRUTH using 400 watt panel charged in 40 min via uk 230V
Allpowers is an extremely shady company. They've been known to not hold up their end of the deal on some of their kickstarter campaigns. Their customer service has been non existent for me. F*ck them.
Sounds like Bluetti.
Push the DC button 3 sec for wifi/bt
Most stuff I charge I can do on the van battery. The only thing I need is to keep my mobile wheel chair charged up. I have fans lights that are solor themselves. I'm on disability I can't afford anything like that. What should I get for my chair.
Your Jakery link in the description points to a device you said "don't buy" in the video.
check out the OUPES 1800 Portable Power Station | 1800W 1488Wh. I have one of the bigger OUPES and like it.
Did you try the Pecron E1500LFP? It's presently 759$ an I'm think it's a good alternative.
review a pecron. Would be interesting to see
You should test the fossibot f2400
Try aferiy, they are great and cheap. I have lots of them.
I think you have a faulty unit. My wifi and bluetooth works on the r1500, charges at 1400watts to 1600watts in my tests
Nice video, but try and get the dabbsson power station its way better than the allpowers. Dabbsson is actually a good one I am save to get the 3500watt unit but check that one out it's like a more affordable ecoflow 🎉😊 keep doing your thing
Thats what I have. And great system!!!
Some say shady company have 4 allpower batteries and 1 bluetti c70 had two blown allpowers relplaced on both occasion and even send a larger newer ones in place cannot ask for more all bought via ebay uk i can only give allpower 10 stars out of 10
Than*
Hi there!! I am huge on Ecoflow and Ankor products. A family member bought the X2 Powers X2-600 Power station yesterday for under $300 on sale fron Battery+ along with the solar panels, battery jump starter and inflator. I could not find any reviews or information on them except that the power station does use LifePO4. Any working stats would be appreciated. The family member couldnt even tell me if its pure sine wave or modified.
they have an x2-300 and x2-1500 model as well
What about the BLUETTI ?
We have different definitions for dirt cheap I think
When it says press and hold the bluetooth/wifi button it means on your phone, not on the power station. You also need to have location turned on. It confused me at first, I think it's poor translation.
Attention solo lab. I am a busker. And I would like to. Power my Super Reverb Deluxe. Amplifier at 45 watts. I was told I would need a sine wave Generator. Could you suggest a? Solar powered generator that. Would work well with that I will also be using a Boss Emmy 90 foot pedal at 12 volts. Iam hoping to get my playoing time to 6 hours.
Thank our for our honestly
They don’t have the expansion cords
The thumbnail should read " Better Than" instead of "Better Then".
You may have just got a defective F1500 because there is a lot of other videos of other reputable youtubers doing tests on it and getting the advertised results the ALLPowers company is a very reputable brand with very well made products I got a allpowers R600 and its awesome better than the bluetti eb3a.
Is it pure sine inverter?
All new power stations are pure sine wave. Even the most generic ones.
good
Did you perform a .2C test to determine efficiency? That's the industry standard. Sounds like the fans aren't working correctly, if at all. Charging or discharging at or above the overall capacity of the battery is not good for longevity. I'm not saying this is a good product, but your testing could have been a lot better.
Pecron 1500LFP all day.
Wireless charging is a dealbreaker for me, if it has wireless charging, I wont buy it, because they clearly don't know anything about efficiency if they include that.
USB-C out is superior, you can hold and use your device while charging, and it charges my phone from almost 0 to 90 in half an hour, you can also charge laptops and other modern high power devices without running the inverter to a powerbrick.
This is still too expansive. Get a 100 ah DCHouse battery with usbc , USB and 12 volt DC out for 200, and and Vevo 2000 watts inverter for 176
This is confusing to me as I see a lot of negative reviews on both Eco Flow and Bluetti power stations. So much so that there are refurbished ones being sold a lot online. I mean are they not all from China on the internal components? The reviews of these things even the popular brands can really scare one away from buying an expensive brick. There is a brand that no one has really reviewed called EcoPlay 2400. It would be interesting to see what it does and whats in it?
Of course, with a small power bank, you can do an almost nothing with it. Because you can't run your house. Whether you can't run your kitchen stove, when you can't run your furnace with it, you can't run what you need with it.
But if it's for camping or fishing, who gives a s*** I mean, I go camping and fishing all the time. But I don't need to bring a little tiny piece of s*** I want to bring something that's Gand those things aren't cheap coarse if you buy a gas. Or a propane generator to Walmart. And get it for cheap. I guess you can get for 5 600 bucks 800 bucks. 412000 watthat's always gonna cost you money.Even though I am thinking about buying one of those but I still need to look at generators that I can run everything.I need to rand those little things are on nothing.
I tried to watch but the abrupt zoom in and out did my head and eyes in........
am I the only one seen the XT60-yellow socket is not proper
no wireless charging is stupid it's slow and makes your phone realy hot
So basically you're saying it sucks.
oupes
😊😊😊😊😉😉👍👍❤️👌👍🏻🫶
What about grecell
