Most people won't understand the amount of passion and love for this game you have to have, in order to play like Murray is playing, considering how penalized his body is.
Roger Federer the other day mentioned that he felt like he retired too early. I think these guys miss it bad after retirement, despite doing this for 25+ years.
@@arindamghatak He's probably seeing how the next gen is and probably thinking he'd still be going deep into the tournaments.
@@Gidozahe wouldn't win anything. he has a terrible record against zverev and thiem . would have even worse record against alcaraz and sinner
@@FraudkovicBut would have definitely better than what Djokovic had against teenage Alcaraz
Murrayducul
Sir Andy forever a legend
Biggest game here was Gio Mpetshi Perricard beating Shelton. Watch this guy.
A grass court monster 😂
Not that big surprise. Shelton has to learn how to volley first
His game is clearly made for grass and hard courts, despite his win at Lyon on clay.
Shelton only can play decently in a usa hard court tournament, everything else he moves like an idiot
Yes, such good talent and very tall >:-)
Murray looks one step away from Wheelchair Tennis and still beating these next gen 😂
🤣😂😳
Are you talking about your MUM😊😅
@@yousefbhoyroo6960is everything alright kid? If you can't take it, life will be hard
@@yousefbhoyroo6960 kids shouldn't comment 🙄
@@yousefbhoyroo6960u naughty kid
Alcaraz Draper should be a good second round match.
Should be fun, but Draper is gonna get smoked if he’s not painting the lines on his serve. Alcaraz gonna neutralize and then pound him with forehands.
So Alcaraz will beat a this year grass champion
It could be interesting as both players have high confidence right now
@@onlysmmkvery likely yes, and I'm a Draper fan
Draper very capable if his fitness is there
Good luck to anyone who gets Mpetschi Perricard in the first round of Wimbledon, the guy looks SCARY on grass.
He lost to Musetti last week (who is not the best on grass). Perricard has a great serve but till now grass is not his best surface and he should not be a problem for a top player (unless the guy is not good on grass like Shelton)
Nah Eubanks is better lol
@@LamNguyen-hw9lq So what? And was there any particular reason why you compared one black player with another? The original comment was talking about the guy's potential, not his comparison with any other player.
so what because he lost vs musetti he is not a threat??? , did you see Musetti matcb who is a top player on grass except djoko and Alcaraz ?
agree with you scary this guy is only 20 , his coach E. Planque is a really good coach
The Shelton match I felt like I was watching from inside a fish under the sea
Perricard served 128 mph 2nd serve average today, biggest Ive ever seen. He's consistently 125mph on 2nd serve in the last few tournaments. I've seen a few players average low to mid 120s on 2nd serve every now and then (Isner averages about 120), but nothing like this. Averages about 135 or so on 1st serve. Seems to always hit a 147 mph or similar serve in every match, incredible.
To have only 5 double faults as well, insane stuff.
Pretty crazy, glad he took out Shelton.
Raonic is the same
@@alasdairsmith7116 By comparison, Raonic "only" averaged 118 mph on 2nd serve in his record breaking ace match against Norrie, and 132 on 1st serve. First speed averages are relatively similar, edge still to Perricard, but the 2nd serve is what's mind boggling for me at least.
@@alasdairsmith7116He serves faster than Raonic he gets into the 140s pretty consistently
I was there today standing 2 feet away. Perricard first serve like 145 second 135 absolute huge
Shelton has found someone that serves even faster than him. And with more consistency.
Shelton's biggest issue is that his return game is so tragically bad that he will never achieve big.
Alcaraz is everything to Tennis right now. Total package. Great kid. Generational talent. American broadcasts don't give him the time and coverage that he deserves. The kid is loved the world over for good reason. They have missed the boat. Generational talent. Period. Nike gets it ...
really? Thats to bad... I dont know why, but I cant stand him
@@seife41 Let me guess, you can't stand Alcaraz bc you're either a Djokovic or Sinner fan, right? 🤣
Alcaraz is a monster
Monster slain in str8's by an English Knight.
Perricard....great talent without any show off and hype...old school style doing damage...
Andy pure legend of the game! Yonex is working!!
Great win by Perricard! Also nice work from Draper
Mpetshi Perricard
That was a shocking win by Murray! Nobody was expecting that against an elite player!
De Minaur reminds me of Ferrer. He has almost everything you would ask for a top player, but he just lacks that "something" that the real champions have.
Ferrer was 100 times better, he has very nice strokes, De Minaur only run like an idiot dog
Agree. He's a very well-rounded and extremely solid player. Yet, he doesn't have that killer intensity and hunger for victory, that mindset of ''I'm sorry but i'm gonna win cuz i'm him''.
@@Joa_DB he just isnt good enough in the important points
He’s 7 in the world coming off of a tourney win…on what planet does any of that scream he lacks killer intensity or hunger? Winning multiple titles isn’t a real champion either? And I’m pretty sure you have to be more than just good on “important points” to be at his ranking. Absolute stupidity
@@cferg4330 what about comparing him to Ferrer did you not understand? Do you even know who he is?
Real champions maybe was too ambiguous. I mean the goats like big 3
The Murray of Olde is Anew!
Bravo Lorenzooooooo🤩❤🇮🇹
Big win for Musetti! Also pretty disappointed in Shelton these days
He has to learn how to play on grass and clay. Last year was his first time. learning curve is harder on grass. He will get there.
@@scottolivier8636 durrrrr no I’m a dumbass tennis viewer if he can’t win slams like Novak immediately HE SUCKS he’s washed garbage diversity play from the western tennis tour I hate him hahaha
Seems like he’s trying to grind on the grass which is the issue instead of doing big game tennis
Dude is so overrated. He doesn't really have much going for him.
@@le0shadow true, 14 in world is nothing
Carlitos Alcaraz 9 days ago won RG and today like played on grass for 3 months....
El argentino salió segúndolo jkajaka
it is not fast grass like stuttgart but nonetheless impressive
De Minaur must be tired after last week. Also, playing Musetti this early in the tournament is henious
Maybe de minaur wins a title again next week
@@onlysmmk lol impossible for him to win Wimby
@@joyboi2708this year or ever? He just keeps improving.
Well, that’s smaller tournaments for you. Limited seeding spots mean even a top 30 player becomes a first round for a top 10 guy. Demon still looking like a good shout to push far into Wimbledon this year though, proved last week that he’s got the hands to back up his wheels on grass.
That flying De Miñaur was amazing! 5:35
Must feel funny when you get way overpowered by Mpetshi!! This boy is big and has lots weapons!!! Watch out all!! 😅😮
MURRAY FOREVER!
Very clean and powerful serves from Mpetshi Perricard!
Andy's last year on the tour surely and one last dance on home tuff. Center court will be giving a standing ovation in a few weeks for the nation's hero. What a career and what a human being. We love you Andy.
Kinda wished Andy switched frames a year or two ago. He’s getting just that tad bit more power and serve for free points. He’s also getting the range better as he’s been playing.
Good to see Andy playing well❤
I just love Andy and will miss him very much when he ends his carreer ❤❤
Argentinians when they see grass 😵💫😵 0-4 today
they HATE it
Well, there are no grass courts in Argentina…
@@hitthurdeaux exactly....
Great game, Andy 👍😍
Surprised but not surprised Gio beat Ben today
Good luck to Andy! You got British heart, no matter what, you are already a hero! A knight in shining armour.
Murray legend 👏Draper express👏
I guess Shelton is still waiting for his call to be answered 😂😂😂
🥱🥱🥱
Ironman Murray does it again! So much respect for this legend! 👏🏻
where did perricard come from? He is skyrocketing up the rankings
One of the best highlights cut in recent times with all the important points
Well played with big win today Andy 💪💪
murray popyrin was so hype
MURRAY like his new tennis racket ...
The slice serves from Draper are great.
Mpetshi Perricard is the greatest talent under 20. Delicious to watch!!!
He's not under 20. In fact, he'll turn 21 in a couple of weeks. He's just a couple of months younger than Alcaraz and Rune.
@@J.-M. You're right, sorry! He's a huge talent anyway :-).
MURRAY.
The things we love to see... Alcaraz, Murray and Draper winning.. Shelton losing
The things we hate to see... A match being lost on a double fault
agree for all except shelton. dude is overhated.
@@SwanTech6061 😂 you spelled overrated wrong
Draper is in superb form at the moment! Love to see it.
Meanwhile, Shelton is disappearing, but he did lose to someone who won a tournament recently and plays tremendously well already, especially considering his ranking. Mpetshi Pericard is one to look out for
Shelton's return game is so tragically bad that he will never achieve big.
This will be second time for alcaraz when it comes to slam defence...
He faltered at uso..
Fed defended his wimbledon and went on to defend it 4 times..
Nadal also defended rg 4 times..
Joker couldn't follow the other big 2 , as he blossomed later after 2010...
This wimbledon pressure will be immense on alcaraz to defend his second slam won...
Fed and Nadal were successful in that department
Defending the title means winning it the year before and winning it again the next year. Djokovic defended the Australian Open 5 times.
@@huzcer yeah but he failed after winning it first time ..oz for joker
The move to a Yonex racket is already starting to show value
5:40 wow~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!
Love it! Grass always separates the men from the boys.
Andy congrats👏
i really like MP! lets see more of his game. 😎
Go Murray! Still Winning with a plastic hip against a pretty good player. People say He should retire, but I like watching him. Great win in his 1000th Career Match 🎾
Murray has changed his racquet now to Yonex !😊
Shelton just got whipped by a player I have never heard about on the ATP tour. The guy must be new on the seen. And already beating main stay players. 🎉🎉👏👏
i think Shelton´s phone batterie is empty😬😬😬
Maybe if he focussed less on hus phone? 🤷🏻♂️
Partidazo 👏🏻🇦🇷
Alcarez seems to serve much better on ad side than duece side.
I know Musetti is quality but still rather surprised by the Deminaur loss
Does anyone know the release date?
Personally I enjoy Murray's deliberate wide range of setup shots putting him ahead of Djokovic of pure tennis finesse. He's one of a kind glad to see him winning. Of course, djokovic has that serbian grit, also finesse but thats how they're raised in serbia.
Let’s go, Murray!!!
Shelton’s serve is so overrated holy shit. Bro makes 1 first serve every two games
Murray with Yonex😮
Que ca gon Cerundolo, tenía gran posibilidad de ganar el segundo y tuvo miedo.
I just ordered 500 Ezone 100s
LOVE ANDY!!
Alcaraz 6-1 7-5 Cerundolo
Murray 6-3 3-6 6-3 Popyrin
Musetti 1-6 6-4 6-2 De Minaur
Mpetshi Perricard 6-3 7-6 Shelton
Draper 6-3 6-2 Navone
Where's the telephone Shelton....!!!
Jesus Christ,Murray manage to win a war against Popcorn 😂
Shelton with a lot of work to do
Shelton's return game is so tragically bad that he will never achieve big.
Je pense que grasse à la victoire contre giovanni mpetshi perricard ( 7/6 7/6 ) lui a permi de battre de minaur
Again, whats in the "Butternut Box" opposite the umpire chair?! Its sitting right in the sprint path - is that to create fairness for the umpire blockkng the net sprint on the left side?!?
What about the paul - Baez match?
Lorenzo🇮🇹🌹❤️
NITIRA MATCH TOUR EXPRESS 🎾🎾🎾🎾
Faster than Shelton losing a match😂
Didn't Drapper just win a tournament a couple of days ago? Kudo to him for keeping the momentum. Next round wouldn't be so easy though.
Draper
wut happened to baby brotha Bin Shilton ? every1 beat him now
Lost his phone, I guess. Weird, he seemed talented. Must be something wrong indeed.
De Minaur is a strange one. He shows great flurries of talent yet almost always comes up short after leading.
Shelton just hit a new rock bottom.
I think he can go lower

Monster got slain by the English Knight in straight sets.
Shelton looks so uncomfortable on the grass lol

Sir Andrew Barron Murray
( 739 ) Wins From 1000th.. To Date..
Thats a strong performance from Murray! Getting cheap points off serves too with his new Yonex! Bravo 👏
Hmm wait.. where are all those “racket experts” who said Murray made a complete mistake now?
*racquet
makes no difference. Murray hasn't challenged for anything bigger than a 250 since 2017.
Oh I'm sorry, was the volley of the year not worth a second look?!?!
Queen's feels different. It should become a Masters for the grass surface!
I think Halle should be the Masters event, but one of the two definitely should!
@@hitthurdeaux Queens looks nicer and more traditionell - greets from a german
@@fred3r1k yes nothing more trad than the "pride" flag fluttering in the breeze, really adds to the tennis experience.
Full house only for the the Alcaraz match. Not even for Murray and Draper ones 👀
What Carlos favourite food?
Always loved Murray’s passion and want for more but the huge come on with a double fault and the “clean” winner at 3:33 is a joke.
When did Andy start using a Yonex racket? Just doesn't look right lol
His Head contract came to its natural conclusion. Remember they pay him to use their rackets. He’s getting on a bit therefore not worthwhile to renew it!
Atp tour streamed a hallenger 2 months or so back. Thats when I first saw it.
It feels like a horrible choice, especially when you dont really have a topspin technique that actually uses this stringbed 🤷♂️
Perricard and Fils are gonna be Monfils and Tsonga 2.0
De Minaur channeling Becker.
Those screams are necessary?
