This is how you do highlights, 8 mins kept me so engaged. RG, AO, Wimbledon and US Open take note!
Us open and Ao do great highlights for all matches
Wimbledon Rolandgarros are shit
but also 8 min because it's a final match
Have to give ao and US Open the make decent halflights, roland Garros and Wimbledon are awful compared
@@onlysmmk are they up an hour after the game? No endless replays of the one best shot rather than spacing them out. Also most are 3 mins each for 5 setters, no way to get into the pace and emotion before it's all over.
Usually tennis tv highlights are 2-3 minutes when they have to show multiple matches, which is about the same length that the rest of the channels do highlights
Tommy Paul's running crosscourt forehand is a thing of beauty. That singlehandedly kept him in so many points.
True though it's funny he hits with so much spin, it shouldn't really work on grass...
Absolutely. When he's on a dead sprint on the full stretch, Musetti turned into a hustler real fast
Oui, j’ai hâte de voir ce qu’il va faire à Wimbledon mais il est en grande forme et c’est un redoutable outsider!
@@al1976-v7mhitting flat on the run is no way to win..
@@warrenmiller2044 i know it's just funny he gets a lot of spin on it but also a lot of pace. It looks funny, very different from Agassi's or Sampras' forehand on the run. But very effective anyhow!
Paul's ability to recover what seemed to be winning forehand crosscourt shots from Musetti is really incredible.
Tommy Paul wins either way, just look at who his spouse is.
Jaja, were you watching the or his wife?
Both Tommy and Lorenzo are peaking just in time for the big W😮...Lorenzo has improved his backhand while Tommy has his run on. The guy loves to run!
Two hot players with exciting games. This is what ATP finals need. Musetti’s backhand returns and down-the-lines remind me a lot of Justine Henin’s. Beautiful.
Delighted Tommy won but both players are so good to watch. Overall Queens week was a lesson to other tournaments as to how to run something like this Great crowds with total respect for the players.....a pleasure to watch.
.
Both these guys are class
Tommy has grit
Musetti a lot of spirit as well
Tommy is super fast , his passing shots on run are amazing. Keep it up Tommy.
USA(Florida home of the best US tennis players)
Great comeback in 2nd set for Musetti but Tommy MF Paul!!!! Keeps his composure and pulls it off in straights. Bravo, Tommy!!!!
Thanks so much for the highlights. They were terrific.
Congrats to Tommy Paul. Musetti may have the flashier, prettier game but Tommy plays with great tenacity and has all the shots. Great win for him.
The crazy thing is, Tommy Paul has always had the potential to be this good. He's the most well rounded American player we've had in years. Solid serve, solid groundstrokes, amazing court coverage, good feel at the net. He's beaten Alcaraz twice, and for good reason. But now his mental game is developing too, and it really does feel like he has what it takes to compete and win big tournaments. Two masters 1000 semis and 3 finals this year alone is big. Maybe he's not a slam contender just yet, but with the right draw and a little bit of luck you never know...
the problem is he lacks the exceptionality of players like Zverev, Alcaraz, Sinner.
Do you think Zverev is in the same league as Alcaraz & Sinner? He has an exceptional serve and a backhand, but that's just about it. @@Baratheon.
@@neelabh06as much as i dislike zverev you have to admit: if alcaraz and sinner are tier 1, zverev is at least tier 1.5
@@SwanTech6061 Yeah, got to give him that!
@@neelabh06Medvedev is better than Zverev tbh
In Hard obviously
A lot of precision from Tommy Paul and upped his intensity when he needed it in the tie-break against a fighting Musetti.
He must be delighted with the win and trophy and good form. The crowd definitely got their money's worth in the second set setting up some spectacular shots by both players.
Congratulations to Tommy Paul for the victory! I hope Musetti gains confidence after this tournament, his tennis is pure art.
Very good match , with amazing changes . Congrats to a great Paul and Musetti Is improoving step by step ... Is just 22 y's old
Improving not improoving
Fantastic highlights! Really showed the best of not just both players, but the match in its entirety and what the score line reflects. I never thought Tommy Paul was Top 10 material, but damn is he looking really fantastic. He's extremely fast, recovers so well and quickly, can up the intensity in tight games, but also keeps his composure. He also did a great job making sure to hit it to Musetti's backhand which seems to be his reliable and less threatening shot. really hope he keeps up the momentum and this level, I'd love to see another American man in the Top 10 and keep it consistent. I've always liked him, but now I must say I'm fully rooting for him and a quite a fan after watching this. Musetti played amazingly as well. He's got quite the fearhand and was keeping up with TP's level of intensity. This is one of the better finals I've seen this year. Congratulations Tommy Paul!
Man! Wonderful back and forth match. Good effort by Musetti. Good win for Paul.
What a level of tennis these 2 produced today!! Just respect!! 🎉
Big as heck trophy. Makes Paul look like a toddler holding it.
These two are both amazing, but Tommy, when he's focused, he's a monster.
He is one of Alcaraz's nightmare.
Great to see Paul lift the trophy. He just might be the best America men’s tennis player right now. Hopefully he can go deep in Wimbledon.
He's the new US #1, and for good reason. Fritz is consistent but can't elevate his game against the top players, Tiafoe is back in a slump, and Ben just isn't good on clay and grass yet
@@TraeBeneck Shelton's ceiling and potential is higher. Tommy lacks the exceptionality of elite players
@@Baratheon. I agree 100%. But you must admit that at this exact moment, Paul is technically better, even though I expect Ben to surpass him in a year or two
@@Baratheon. Many said the same about Fritz. After his Indian Wells win. Let’s see. Time will tell.
@@Baratheon. No, Paul has more raw talent I'd say, he just have to shorten his forehand swing and learn a new motion
Tommy Paul with some top level stuff. Huge win!
Substance!!
Tommy Paul wins either way at the end of the day, just look at who he gets to go home with
Yay. Love both Musetti and Paul but was rooting for Paul to get his first big trophy. Congrats🎉🎉
Very contrasting styles made for an intriguing tussle, a bit like watching a Federer/Nadal contest. Paul's compact game style is hard to beat.
In a 3 set match Paul's got the goods.
Musetti always a delight to watch. Let’s hope some magic happens in Wimbledon-
What a glorious day for USA tennis, Tommy won Pegula won. Congratulations to USA tennis 🎉
In a 3 month span (Apr-Jun), Fritz falls outside the Top 10, Shelton wins on clay (Houston) to usurp US #1, and then Paul does the same thing to Fritz after winning on grass (Queen's). A loss in Fritz's form & focus can't be denied. At least USA has 4 guys in the Top 20 again. Congrats to Korda for finally cracking that milestone.
Fritz keeps going on with useless influencers. seems like Opelka would rather be an influencer than play tennis too
@@Baratheon. Opelka has had injuries. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up retiring sooner than later. His ranking is in the 1Ks, he's not getting any younger, he's too tall, & the game has passed him by.
Nice to have another non-grunting, humble shot maker do well.
Nice win for Tommy. Musetti played great this tournament. Good confidence booster for both going into Wimbledon.
He's got the title for best looking ATP player as well.
In your bedroom maybe but that's all.
@@blucat4 I'll take it!
Tommy Paul has improved so much. One of my favorite players to watch these days. Hope this gives him the confidence to go against the big boys
My 2 favorite players. Pure beauty. One of the best 2 setters on grass I've ever seen
This was great highlights, showed pivotal turning points in the match, great points. Great job here! defo thumbs up!
I watched this match live this morning. Turned to it cuz the Halle final was kinda a snoozefest, and I am so glad I did. Great job to Tommy Paul, I was rooting for him but I really did want a 3rd set because the shot making was absolutely incredible.
Impressed by Musetti’s returns, it’s good to see him trying to be more aggressive and take the ball earlier. Generally he likes to stand very far back, especially on clay. Nice transition to grass and hopefully he can make good run at Wimbledon.
These are some of the greatest highlights I have ever seen.
That crosscourt forehand of Musetti is something else, so much speed
Wow! What an entertaining match. Both amazing players but really happy for Tommy Paul.
Happy for Tommy Paul , such a gentleman and a good person , well deserved and as for Musetti he finally opened up his game taking calculated risks , he is up there with the other top players to win a grand slam.
Bravo Lorenzo!!!! Che sogno che giocatore!!!! Bravissimo!!!! Ti meritavi di vincere!!!! Sei come un giovane Federer! Grandeeeeeee!!!!❤🇮🇹
Какой матч! Скорость передвижения, точность, мощь! Шедевр. Браво!
Wonder how many thousand times they're going to point out that Tommy is now the US #1 next week, given they couldn't go 20 seconds without mentioning Draper being the British #1 this last week.
They did when he won with Alcaraz.! By the way Draper is fantastic
two of my favorite players playing in this final. Congrats Paul, well deserved!! Hopefully Musetti can gain confidence from this run.
Good highlights...
I feel like Tommy Paul has improved so much lately it's crazy
Great play from TP, he’s really deserved to take a title this season. I was hoping Musetti could take it to three, but his shot selection and netplay could use some work…bit more experience and hours put in and he can really start getting results!
Both players brought it😮
This man deserves the man ! He has been playing so well , so consistently! Go Paul !!
Did anyone else notice the small detail at 5:23? It’s so cool!
Glad to see him win it. He's a fun guy to watch that can play both baseline and the serve-bot role.
Two ATP grass finals today with no grunters in any of them! :)
I’m so happy for Tommy… so deserving of that huge trophy!
Hell yeah. Good for T.P.
Paul got the win but I have to say I was more impressed with the shots of Musetti. What a stylish player!
Pauls game is just spectacularly athletic, technical. Musetti was my choice for next Fed jr. Seeing them both play was spectacular tennis Paul has signature shots and Musetti was doing Federer-like things it was a great spectacle of a match.
Musetti no es Sinner, pero puede crecer le falta más preparación física, Tommy espero de ver la revancha con Sinner, ahí verás....
The only advantage to play one hand back hand is back hand parallel, like Warinka. If they don't use this advantage, will be with weak arm during the match.
Without Joker , runway open for a number of guys including TP
If Musetti had won the TB, I'm sure he would have won the match at the 3rd
Felicidades Paul ❤
What an amazing match! Wow! Both great players.
I was rooting for Tommy. He doesn't have the prettiest game in the world but you can't argue with the results
Musetti can’t comprehend Tommy’s reaction time with how fast he moves
Interesting to follow Tommy Paul in Wimbledon. He's refreshing
Well, you barely scraped that. Nevertheless. Grats, Tommy.
Incredible match.
Cya at Wimbledon:)
2:01 Federer good vibes ⭐
Well done! Mr.Tommy Paul,Big Congratulations! God Bless USA.🙏🙏🙏😍
Congratulations! to Tommy P! Champion!
Both would be crushed by Sinner...
Majestic performance from both these two very talented top players, Tommy Paul managed to give something more and deserved the cup...!
Amazing Paul now is different
Musetti devi svegliarti e credere di più nel tuo tennis. Devi convincerti di essere il migliore.
Magical!!
i really love Paul fore hand
amazing match ! both players so awesome
Too hard 4 the 1 handed
Musetti's game is too much counter-punching to win against the big dogs.
For example on the Forehand side he can only attack successfully when his opponent rips the ball to his forehand side then he can use that pace to rip it.
He cant win points attacking on his forehand side first.
Also his weakness.
4:44 Djokovic approved 🚀
2 very handsome finalists
Musetti's backhands were underwhelming by his standards all tournament. Mainly only going to it for slices in hopes to set up a strong flat forehand but otherwise didn't use it much as a weapon except for sometimes returns.
His bh isn't really that good - that's why, unfortunately!
@@ewan735 i can only think of one 1HB that's actually good, the rest are weaknesses in the modern era
Tommy’s got a groove
yay paul is a nice guy, humble.
So so happy for Tommy, American tennis is coming back. Go USA🇺🇸♥️
Tommy you are so handsome, so is your girl friend . Beautiful couple.☺️
Paige’s vlog boutta be legendary
7-7 tie break @7:15. Poor shot selection from Musetti. Should have been a cutting inside out slice down the line followed by an approach or a drop shot. If he could mix in variety he could be so complete! Great match by both gents.
neither of these guys could beat Sinner or Hurkacz, but they're both way more fun to watch
So proud of Tommy
Is Queens slower Gras’s court than Halle?
Musetti fought his heart out in 2nd set but Paul was too good to handle. 🎉
Musetti has lovely shots but he is never going to improve if he keeps playing 8 feet behind the baseline. Unfortunately he is going to take this week as a good sign but he didnt beat anyone of note besides de Minaur. A poor man's Gasquet at the moment.
What a high quality match damnnnnn❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Best match on grass so far in 2024 who agree??❤🎉🎉
Tommy is a lucky man. I’m not talking about his tennis.
2 extremely good looking players.
8 mins well spent!!
Shame for Musetti--he played his ass off this week. But when Paul decides to go God mode he's completely unplayable. That second set was incredible
Give him a pure drive and you can call him Roddick. Awesome to see an American win again.
