What a week it has been for Jack. He is now showing us all what a good player he is. He has put in the hard work & he is now reaping the rewards. So pleased for him 👍👍👍
What changed the course of the match in the second set as far I can see from the highlights is the fact that Draper served huge and drop volleyed and in returning took the ball really early which took the time away from alcaraz and neutralized his power. Great variety by draper.
Followed Draper for a couple of years now and at times it has been a frustrating ride. He has had some massive victories but then the injuries and inconsistent form. What a match this was. Well done Jack and here’s to an amazing few weeks! Excited to see what he can win in the future
Excellent Jack, super exciting win! Lets hope he stays injury free and its onwards and upwards for him. I liked the response to being UK No1. It is an honour but he has his sights set on other goals, great mentality!

I’m actually not concerned for Carlos heading into Wimbledon. Draper played fantastic. Carlos just needs to be mindful of keeping his serve percentage high and mixing in the drop shots to keep players honest. Jack needs to pull out of Eastbourne if he wins this title.
Carlos didn’t need much clay matchplay to win Roland Garros; he’ll be ready for Wimbledon, where it won’t be 3-set shootouts but 5-set marathons. Anyone on a good day can take out the top players in the 3-set format; harder to do it over 5.
