    Hi, I’m cooking this dish now, but the sauce doesn’t seem to reduce since 20 mins’ ago. May I know where I gone wrong pls?

    • @spicenpans
      @spicenpans  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Opps. You gotta cook the sauce without the lid so that the liquid can evaporate. Hope we’re not too late with our suggestion.

      @@spicenpans I did. Maybe I’m doing double portion, hence the sauce would take a longer time to reduce. Perhaps I should hv split up the sauce so that it could reduce I’m a faster pace.😀

    For 15pc wings-can I add 2 chicken cube to 2L of water?

  • @hanx1ao1n
    @hanx1ao1n 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well I have blanched my chicken wing like u did in the video, plus I added ginger also. But I was unable to get rid of the unpleasant smell of the chicken wings.

      +aliss .dove are you using fresh or frozen chicken? Does this happen to all the chicken you buy from different vendors or brands or from the same one?

    • @hanx1ao1n
      @hanx1ao1n 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      haha thank you for replying! yes! it happened to all the chickens i try to cook. lol

    • @spicenpans
      @spicenpans  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +aliss .dove Hihi. You may wanna try these methods: if you're using the chicken for deep frying, soak the chicken in milk with salt for an hour or so. If you are using the chicken for stir frying, add cooking wine to the dish. If you're using the chicken for soup, blanch the chicken per our suggestion but add ginger, spring onion and white rice wine to the water.

    What can you substitute rock sugar?

  • @juneleong1146
    @juneleong1146 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thot there is rock sugar need to add to this dish in cooking?. May only have soya and chicken bullion tasted predominate in this style of cooking
