    The Skoda Kodiaq vRS is something of a niche proposition, offering buyers the practicality of a seven-seat SUV with the performance of a ‘warm’ hatchback. As a result, direct rivals are few and between, but prospective buyers may also want to consider the Cupra Ateca, Land Rover Discovery Sport and, ironically, the Sportline version of the standard Kodiaq. Ginny puts the Kodiaq vRS through its paces to see if the performance matches up to the styling, and whether the car retains all that makes the standard vRS such a good family car.

    Great review again. Honest one too.
    Those money just for a 7 seater, that has no ISOFIX in the back seats. Also with those big 20" wheels and those small brake disk looks like it's on stilts. I hate it on all modern cars. And a Diesel, whaaaaat? It's just keeping the the price up. On the other hand how will it differ from the Cupra. They will collide, so just don't bother making it. Imo the twin TDI is not used enough and they decided to make a dedicated model to it.

    Not a full size 7 seater family car with only two isofox that you would realistically use. Q7 has 3 across the middle and two in the back. Also Ginnie stop with the ‘fake parts’ issue. It would look ridiculous with one exhaust. It’s a design thing and not everything on a car is there purely for function.

      notformebeaky I’ve no problem at all with diesel, I even drive one. However, this is billed and priced as a sporty car, yet it’s very slow and if you’re buying a new car, the fact that diesel sales are dropping FAST for pollution reasons has to be taken into account. Why not just put more power in it. This is Golf R money for a family car.

    • @Cdawgone1
      @Cdawgone1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love diesel because of lower CO2 then benzin and better fuel consumtion. Diesel is not slow, it has better tourque in lower speeds than benzin with the same power. High tax like all cars with that power. Fake exchaust is what I dont like. Massively expensive because of quality what you get, better then BMW or Seat etc., cheaper parts if she brokes. BMW and other just have names not so much better quality then Skoda, ask mechanics about Skoda cars. I was driving Skoda Octavia RS diesel and that was one of the best cars for me and my family.

    £43k is a bonkers price for this car, an x3 20d m sport is a far better car for the same money. Who could possibly be tempted at that price?

    • @CleanFinish2023
      @CleanFinish2023 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Small the M sport spec is that price, that’s top spec. There isn’t that much difference in space, yes the Skoda has a third row but there’s a big trade off, have you sat in the back of the Skoda? I have and have had an x3 so I know. I’m sure the Skoda is driven by the wealthy and BMW by the poor trying to look rich......? Listen to yourself.

      Trouble is it's like she said. The 2.0tsi sports line looks as good. It's about 0.5 seconds slower to 60 only and it keeps you below that 40k fresh hold where you get an extra £1500 of road tax cost. It makes no sense in the UK market especially knowing that they are going to keep cracking down on diesel vehicles that'll effect its value or cost you more going in to some city centres in the near future

    Not ‘From Batch or I’.
    If in doubt split it up:
    You say ‘from Batch’ and ‘from me’.
    So it’s ‘from Batch or me’.
    ‘Batch and I disagree’ ✔️
    Batch disagrees, I disagree; we disagree.
