Hi to Bakies family Umar(ra) was the most influential man after our beloved prophet(saw) in Islam and history. Every muslim really love this amazing character. During his khilafa for 10 years his army fight with three strong armies simultaneously and defeat them: 1) army of Saad ibn Abiwaghas against Persian empire 2) army of Khalid ibn walid and Abuobaidah ibn Jarrah against Romns 3) army of Amr ibn Al-As against egypt. He spread land of Islam from Morroco in the west to border of China. He was great khalif in the word but he help poor people and widows and played with children and also he didn't have palace and sleep on the soul. When one of generals of romans that captured in the battle came to Medina city he expect that Umar be in the great palace with golds and special clothes but when he received Umar was sleeping on the soul and he shocked and said now I know why your armies defeat us. During 1400 years of history of Islam he is only man that is shahid (killed by enemis) in the masjid of prophet in the Medina during the pray. This only tells us how he has great place in the heaven.
