There is actually a continuation to the end. The sheikh explained that on judgment day any martyr would require a witness proving that he was actually martyred. For example, his family, his best friend, or even his enemies who testified that he died defending the religion of Allah. But for Uthman, the Quran itself will give witnesses that he was martyred because he died in front of the Quran.

I just want to clarify one thing. The source that claims Uthman (RA) recited the entire Quran in one rakat is false because in an authentic hadith in Sahih Bukhari (4767) the prophet said to read the Quran once every 7 days. So the companion who asked the prophet if he could read the Quran in under 3 days realised he could not.
If this companion did not read the Quran in under 3 days then Uthman would not have recited the Quran in one rakat.
My issue with some scholars and other Muslims who tell stories is that they exaggerate or blatantly make up lies to make Islam look greater. Islam is already great with the truth. We do not need to exaggerate to do this. I have issue with scholars who don't fact check sources because the Quran tells us when we receive information we should fact check it before telling another person.

you are mistaken bro, yes the prophet s.a.w did say that but what was the purpose? The reason was so that the companions can take the time to understand the verses better when reading through the Quran. Uthman r.a read the whole Quran during nafl salaat, this is not the same scenario. There is no issue with prolonging your nafl salaat, and there are no restrictions. And be careful with your statements, the report that uthman r.a read the whole Quran in one night is authentic. Under the authority of many of the major scholars of Islam. For you to say this is an exaggeration done purposefully by the scholars is disrespectful.

Please do not make statements out of ignorance. And go consult ullama with your questions. Simply saying the very scholars of Islam are wrong just because you know a piece of information? You think Allah grants the title of scholar, for his Deen, to anyone? Who are deceptive or dishonest one way or another. This is ignorance. For example the hadith you just quoted do you think a literal scholar wouldn't know?
May Allah grant us deeper understanding, and destroy our ego that stops us from accepting the knowledge from whom he has bestowed knowledge. And may Allah let righteousness prevail. Ameen.
