🌻 Put a small amount of moss around the exposed soil roots of that top cutting. That will help keep them moist as they work their way back into the soil.

Thank you!!! Good to know I'm not alone with this sheet moss pole situation. Maybe next time, I'll just air layer the top that has grown beyond the pole. But my top cut is doing great so far.

More plant chore videos! I love listening to them while I do some plant chores myself!🥰 I just stumbled across Bridgerton, and honestly, it's not that bad. I'm not into watching shows in that time period, but it's kinda interesting😆. Also, I've been binging All American, which is good too. Both of these shows are on Netflix, btw!
I will try n save more plant chores for filming. I was into All American for a while since I had friends appear in it. Someone suggested Sandman on Netflix and I’m hooked! It’s right up my alley.

This is not a steel wired moss pole. So I will not just cut the pole into two like he does. Sorry it made you "show your teeth" but its ok to see other methods.

I don’t have cable either and I recently subscribed to Peacock…I’ve been watching the “Bel-Air” reboot. I was surprised it’s really good and TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the original. I heard Wednesday was good too, so I’m considering subscribing to Netflix again. Let me know what else you recommend on Netflix once you come across something!

Hi David. I was wondering when you grow in water do you add nutrients and if so how often. Also same question with your moss poles do you water them with nutrients. Great video.
Hey, I do add nutrients to the water once a month but I only let it sit in there for a few days then change to fresh water. The nutrients deplete the oxygen in the water much faster. I also use nutrient water for moss poles every time.
I have those moss poles you use. You can roll up the short way and place them in a short box or a padded envelope. Do you have them for sale yet?
I sold a good number of them. I still have some left in my garage, I may post more on my Etsy shop soon.

I definitely watch both of them, I just do my own thing for the type of moss poles I use...thats what this video is all about. Soul is happy now that he gets a warmer day to be outside.

It’s already air layered with the roots going inside the pole. The Splendid in my more recent videos is the successful top-cut.

Hey thanks, yeah I'll keep you updated on the Monstera. I haven't purchased pots lately, since I use re-used plastic. Potting media seems to be normal price still. My Etsy shop is (Aroid District) there is a link in my channel banner as well.
I'm just now seeing that Amazon has cheaper prices for Pots and media. Maybe because its winter. But yeah inflation is crazy otherwise out here.

IMO you cut that first cut awfully close too the node, hope there’s no issues. The Variegated Monstera is really pretty, can’t wait to see it get big. 💚
You're right, I noticed that when editing. I'm not worried at all tho. its two different nodes in pot plus whatever connects to pole later on. I'll keep up with updates for the Monstera.

Yes, the top cut and all the propagations doing well. You can see the top cut on my video titled “Rare Plants Under 50$”

Why didn't you just extended the pole? It's still a small pole, these can stand still at 5ft

Hello Dave from Puerto Rico!!! Wow, that was a toughy. Some other moss poles are a little easier…🪴🪴🪴 Do you like the moss and bark mix in the pole better than just moss?
Yeah it sure was. I like a regular tree branch or wood stick for a pole better. The moss and Coco Chunk mix is much better. I think roots like it better as well.
