Hi Julia - These are so pretty put in frames. Didn’t know you could get mats and frames online. Guess you can get about anything online these days!!! Such a fun and pretty way to display these wall hangings. You are so good at free motion. Love the pops of color you added. I love anything trees too. Hope you are staying warm. Love & Hugs! 🌲❄️
I love this! I sew just to alter clothes, but I have so many ideas in my head now! HOW did you manage to see in multiple directions (the trees)? I would have to move the cloth to not get stuck. I’m using a very old Singer, but I have a new one waiting for me. Yay! Thanks for sharing your talents!
Hi, I drop the feed dogs and use a free motion foot. It allows you to sew in any direction. You do the moving because the feed dogs are dropped. It’s fun!
Hi Ana, I do not think you will be happy with these on baby clothing. They are quite transparent. You may need to use a fabric paint that is more opaque for good coverage. Thanks for watching, Julia
@@stitchesbyjulia Thanks for your reply. Could you do a video on the different type of paintings and where we can use please? I believe many of us that follow your channel are in love with your easy technics, but in my case that I NEVER painted and would love to do it, I don't know where to start. Maybe you should sell a class for us and teach us how to do it...🥰🙏🥰
@@stitchesbyjulia I was wondering the same thing. This also gives the purchaser the option to display the full panel, especially if they are full textile creations! Love your talent! :)
Thank you for sharing! i am a bit confused about the last step of the process. If you're using a temporary spray, wont it start to slide around in the frame once it's gone?
Sweet to see a fellow southpaw! I really love and enjoy the framing process from printing to matting my artwork lovely vid
Julia, you are so creative but also generous sharing your ideas with everyone. Thankyou so much xx
First comment! Julia I love your work. Thanks for sharing how you mat your pieces.

@@stitchesbyjulia Are feed dogs different from the presser foot?
I’m so excited to try that. I bet I’ve had one all along.
Thank you!
Julia you are so talented.
For me to start with those pens, because I can't paint with brush, do you think it will work to do baby clothes?

Do you always use a matte?
How do you attach the top(window) part to the picture please, do you used double sided on to the fabric?
Hi Sally, I do not attach the top mat to the backing. Once it is in a frame, it will be securely in place.
@@stitchesbyjulia thank you so much!

Hi, the double-sided tape keeps it secure. I use the spray to help smooth it out.
What company do you order your shirts from? Do they sell long sleeve t-shirts?
Hi Pamela, I use Alphabroder or Onestopinc. and yes there are many long sleeve tee options.
Hi Julia......What can I say?.....I have not words. Thanks😘
