- What a delight to share with you, my friend Carol! She is such an inspiration to me and I am so grateful she was willing to be filmed for this interview on my channel! I hope you enjoy hearing about her work and inspiration as much as I do!
We filmed for nearly an entire day, so at a future date, I will share a second video where she shares more about her work and demonstrates some of her creative process! Look for that coming sometime in the new year.

I LOVE her work, her attitude, her thinking about we should think more of our planet and her ART - which i style and lots of het depth in her Art.
I really enjoyed your interview with Carol and can totally relate to her love of textiles and how she then becomes inspired to create with them. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this. I sure appreciate her thoughts on used old, discarded pieces. I see the passion in her eyes when she talks of them. I’m a crafter sewing is my first love and I am always curious of my waste even the tiniest scraps of fabric. I too appreciate vintage fabric. Once again thank and I think her creativity is simply brilliant.
Great word!! Her Passion!!
I have treasure textiles late in life. I too sewed my clothes once I had a machine and my mother was of the age to make all of our clothes. I really enjoyed and envy you as a textile artist. I hope to see more of your videos.
Thanks so much for this interview with the brilliant Carol Sarchet! I'm glad I stumbled on it while looking for something to listen to while working in my new kitchen cabinets, even though it slowed down the process because I had to keep looking at the screen.
I’ve had finally found someone with my attitude, I have treasured textiles since I was a child and am in awe of Carol. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
I feel exactly the same. Was interested since I was a child. Now in my old age I have become more creative for "myself" & not only for others. 😂
What a wonderful introduction to Carol and her works--thanks you so much for sharing with us I thoroughly enjoyed this video hugs, Julierose

Where can I see the work of this artist? I can't find anything about her on the web.
Part 2 is coming on June 21st. Unfortunately, she has not had an online presence, which is one of the reasons I wanted to share her work!
Where is part 2 please
Part 2 is coming on June 21st!
Great interview - thank you. Photo tip: When you want to show detail - please don't pan the camera - zoom in and hold for a moment or two because the person viewing don't know - yet - what they're looking at and needs a moment to focus on something. Otherwise, it's visually disturbing and a total waste of time to even bother.
I was filming this one handed with a broken arm. It's my hope that any future videos of this type will be much easier to view.
