While I personally am not a fan of the openings to see the skin in any gowns, Karen, I am beyond impressed with your outstanding work. I hope your future is one of great financial gain and so much business you'll need to hire endless numbers of people to just keep up. Beautiful work!
What a gorgeous gown, you did a lovely job. I just wondered about the front godet and the upside down V shape you cut out of the skirt, when you worked out the circumference of the circle skirt did you take into consideration the upside down V shape?
Girl I wish I had found you months ago!! Do you show how to alter the skirt pattern for clients with bigger butts to avoid giving the pattern large hips??
I am getting married next year and I have been trying to design my own dress but I am having problems because I do not know how to sew that well. Please help.
I’m super late responding! But these trims often come with an iron on backing. Depending on where it’s being applied you may be able to get away without sewing it.
@@MadebyKarenM ok thank you I am planning on making my own prom dress and it is really hard to find tutorials and this helped so much! And for the skin tone fabric how much of that did you need?
Hi Karen great videos BUT with so many mistakes I would advise anyone who attempts bridal or otherwise to perfect your pattern first to avoid so many timely mistakes later and do a toile! xx

This is so gorgeous! How long did it take you to make it?
hi!! how many layers of tulle did you use for the corset. is it sturdy?
Hi I used one layer of illusion mesh and one layer of glitter mesh. It was very sturdy!
Where did you purchase the lace?
Any tips on adding rhinestone trim? Does everything have to be hand sewed?
I’m super late responding! But these trims often come with an iron on backing. Depending on where it’s being applied you may be able to get away without sewing it.
Good afternoon please is it already made pattern
Anybody to help with the name of the sewing machine and overlocker please?
Do you happen to remember how much glitter mesh you used for this dress?
I ordered a ten yard batch I probably used about 6
@@MadebyKarenM thank you so much!! Can’t wait to make this
Do you have a website I want you to make me one
Thanks
Where did you purchase the glitter mesh and the illusion mesh?
Hi! I added the link for the glitter mesh in the description box, and the names of the local stores for the illusion mesh. They may offer shipping.
How much did she pay you to make a beautiful dress like that?
What kind a fabric you used?
Hi! I just left info on the description box for the glitter mesh and illusion mesh. The lining was satin.
How much fabric did you use for this?
I think it’s safe to say I used 6.5 yards of glitter mesh and satin.
@@MadebyKarenM ok thank you I am planning on making my own prom dress and it is really hard to find tutorials and this helped so much! And for the skin tone fabric how much of that did you need?
You could get away with a half a yard for the mesh, but you may as well just get 1 yard. I always buy extra in case I mess up or change my mind lol
